We stopped off for the night to break up a long journey, the hotel is pretty nice, the check-in staff were lovely, we had a meal in the on site Italian restaurant and it was really good, then we went to bed and things turned bad! The bed was quite possibly the worst bed I’ve ever slept on, there was a dip in the middle that we both gravitated to constantly, I must of had 2 hours sleep! At least I had breakfast to look forward too, wrong!!! It was without a doubt the worse slop I’ve ever been served in a hotel, everything just screamed cheap, even the coffee was poor! Really truly awful.

During an overnight stay I was taken by ambulance for suspect cardiac first thing in morning.
The whole team could not have been more helpful or caring.
Recommended for vacation or overnight accommodation. 10/10.

Although currently it sits on a roundabout undergoing major roadworks i'm sure it will be sorted out in due course as currently entry and exit points are unclear and a mess. The hotel is a peaceful place with a wonderful staircase leading to the upper floors. Food on the evening I recently stayed was limited to bar meals which for me was quite adequate, the staff were helpful and certainly not surly as can be the case in some establishments.
The rooms were peaceful and quiet, the bed for me was most comfortable and I had a very good nights sleep. I did not have breakfast but was off on my way early, I thought very good value for money and cheaper than the Travelodge across the road! as well as much more comfortable with free Wifi.

This hotel has art deco character, is well maintained and has friendly staff. Located just at the top of the exit sliproad northbound it is easy to find. Rooms smallish, but clean and comfortable. Very good value.

This hotel was a stop off on our way to Scotland.
The hotel is situated perfectly between the A1 and A66. The hotel is finished to a great standard and also has 2 restaurants and a pool. Staff have been lovely and extremely helpful.
The bedrooms are of good size and quality and also the beds are extremely comfy.
Would definitely recommend here and I will certainly be back
