This was my first time to Andalusia, AL but I was pleased to find a new Holiday Inn Express. Google maps has some crazy directions to get there but just watch for the hotel and turn into it.
The hotel and grounds were in great shape. The hotel is nothing fancy, a very typical HIE but it met my standards. The rooms & bathrooms were large. Lighting could be a tad better in the bathroom, lots of towels and counter space. AC worked great. Large TV with lots of channels. Comfy bed. Lots of outlets for charging.
The staff was very friendly and recommended places for dinner. We did have to drive a few miles to get to a restaurant but no big deal for me.
I would stay here again if in the area.

Probably the nicest hotel in Andalusia. It was just ok nothing special. Provided what I needed. Front desk person wasn't that friendly and was rarely at the desk in the afternoon. I would stay again if back in the area essentially due to the limited options.

This hotel is on a parcel of land that is really a few miles out of "town" so expect to drive 5-10 minutes to any restaurants. Hotel is a brand new property so it's in fine shape. The mattresses are those "firmer' units that HI is using these days, which is not great for me but may suit you fine if you like firmer mattresses. Enormous screen TV with DirecTV was a nice feature. Service was friendly although they didn't acknowledge my Spire Elite status or ask me if I wanted welcome points etc. I thought it was a bit proud to be asking $135 a night but HIE's seem to be out of touch recently when it comes to price. Many full service Holiday Inn's seem less expensive.

This is probably the best hotel in the Andalusia, Al area.
Nice free breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff.
Needs better signage on how to make the correct turn into the hotel - not well marked where the entrance is.
The beds and pillows were very firm - some people might prefer a little softer bed or pillow.

2nd stay here. Both times the front desk had been very welcome. Room was clean, smell free and above average breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Pool is a bit small but nice. Only fast food close by but a short drive will open opportunity.Very satisfied with our stay.
