Just a passing through visit. Easy to find from motorway. Arrived late (around 22.00) but were checked in quickly and efficiently. Bar open til late but no food available. Hotel is in the middle of downtown so many eating and bar options around the area. Comfortable rooms. Good parking in the hotel but additional 14 euros a night. Simple but ample breakfast (Dutch style) in pleasant, airy restaurant.

Arnhem is nota city offering a wide range of hotels and within that limited list, the HIE is probably one of the better choices. Location wise it is perfect: close to the center, highway and I has its own parking lot.
The staff was friendly and helpful. It was quite crowded at check-in and they seemed a bit stressed and all in all things moved a bit slow. However, they remained professional and courteous.
As far as the hotel is concerns it offers a fairly standard 3-star experience. It can of course not compare to the higher rated chains like Crown Plaza, Hilton, Westin, Marrriott, etc... but if you need a place to rest for a night it will do the trick. The room is fairly small but with a relatively modern feel and also the bathroom was tiny but clean and modern. Sound proofing could be better and also the quality of the breakfast is not the best but once again it will do. For a longer stay, I would opt for a hotel offering a bit more luxury and space. For a short stay it is one of the better options in Arnhem.
All in all, you get what you pay for: a night's sleep in a clean room against a fairly low price.

Nice cosy room with enough space. Clean bathroom. Good bed. Friendly staff. Breakfast is poor compared with other similar hotels. Parking facilities in adjacent parking garage for free. City centre only 100 m.

We booked this hotel for a family wedding and had great service from reception staff to the breakfast serving staff.
They made us feel very Welcome and there were 30 of us in a group
This is a very Central hotel close to the town centre with nearby restaurants and movie theatre and the railway station is about a 10 minute walk
Would recommend this facility

The hotel was in a great location just off the city centre. The staff were really helpful and he rooms were nice, modern, and clean. I would definitely stay here again for business or pleasure.
And of course the added bonus of a dead dragon outside the main reception
