Great stay
peeshCharleston_SCon 14/10/2017 15:15Great Holiday Inn express. Staff was super friendly and plenty of parking. I was only laid over here one night, but would definitely stay here if I am back through Bloomington again.Prices here were much more reasonable here than Peoria, something to consider if you are just passing through the area.
South side room

Grocery store on South side of HIE has refrigeration units running at night (at least). Rm 225 is directly above the HIE office and wall area of arrival canopy is at edge of room floor. Constant warbling "sound" bounces in and through the Amana HVAC unit (which was OFF). King size bed is mis-matched to room layout (for double beds) which places it 9" (NINE inches) from Amana unit. Sleeping in the bathtub (still have 'em) would have been quieter, NOT a good sleep experience. Suggest reserving a room on the North (even number) side of this hotel
Greeted Warmly, room a bit tired but clean...
HDFLHPIon 14/09/2017 00:48You can tell that this hotel gets some use. There's little details that the occasional traveler would not notice, that like the staff and I see clearly. The parking lot is exceedingly small and wholly unmanageable if you have a passenger truck and trailer. The front desk was nice, our room was ready and I slept like a log. I was not displeased with the product for the $100 price.
A weekend of rest
alionsden4uon 10/09/2017 02:05This is a really nice motel, near the interstate 55, lots of parking, stake and shake is almost next door. The rooms are big, clean, it has a tub and lots of Hot water. It has an indoor pool and hot tub. Beds are comfortable with a micro wave and frig. The TV is a flat screen newer model with lots to watch.
Do not depend on Wake Up Call
Roberta Son 04/09/2017 18:50Due to a meeting I must attend, I often stay at this hotel. Over the past 2 years I have found my request for a wake up call to be ignored but this last time was the worst. I called to report no wake up call. Gentleman on desk said called 4 times but line was busy. Since I had not been on phone I asked him ring to phone again. Phone never rang. I called again saying phone never rang and same gentleman answered rudely "yeah that happens" and hung up! I was made late for my meeting and had to deal with his rudeness and lies. As a Holiday Inn Express loyalty member, I am NOT happy
