I stayed here for 9 weeks straight! Jake and Ray provided remarkable hospitality the entire time. Highly recomended! Thank you for making it feel like a mini home and making me continually feel welcomed.

I guess there was a soccer tournament in KC last weekend. A lot of the reasonably priced hotels were sold out. I chose this one because we were going to a KC Sporting game Saturday night and wanted to be nearby. I think it was overpriced for what you get. It was clean. The front desk clerk who checked us in on Saturday afternoon was very pleasant and professional. The breakfast was typical of what you'd expect (the creamer choices for coffee were excellent! Several different flavors to choose from!)
My biggest complaint was the price and also, this really bugged me: When I went down for breakfast on Sunday morning, I encountered a young woman who I took to be another guest based on her appearance. She had her long hair in a messy bun, she was wearing sweatpants or yoga pants, a t-shirt, and a zip up hooded sweatshirt jacket. She was also wearing fuzzy flip flops. I didn't think anything of it until I saw her behind the front desk. She was working. As the front desk clerk. She was easily the most unprofessional Holiday Inn employee I've ever seen. That just automatically made me think less of the place. As we left our room on the second floor, I could see her sitting behind the desk scrolling through social media on her phone.
I guess if I have to overpay for a room, I'd rather the hotel be staffed by professionals.

A good, if busy facility with easy access to I-70/the Kansas Turnpike. Clean, comfortable rooms. Adequate facilities. Decent breakfast.
All the good is partly offset by the price. thirty to fifty percent more expensive than comparable competitors.

This was a comfortable hotel that has all the amenities. Free breakfast which had a lot of options. Made it worth the gross bed. The beds sheets were rough and felt more like cotton instead of the cool sheet material you think of. The air conditioning fan wouldn't stay on. The bathroom water was a weird orange color. And the tile was extra slippery.

Check-in very easy, desk clerk really pleasant and helpful. Room a bit pricey, but our room was large, clean and beds were comfortable. Internet worked fine. Breakfast was just fine, on a par with other Holiday Inn Express properties, but the attendant on the morning of 7/23/17 was really fantastic. I was up getting my disabled friend some breakfast, so she was sitting alone in her wheelchair. The attendant came up and asked her if there was anything she would like for breakfast and was generally extremely friendly! We really appreciated that extra attention, which we've never received at any other hotel.
