My wife, son and I traveled 6 long hours from Annapolis to be told that our reservation was for the day prior and that none of their rooms have a sleeper sofa. On the phone my wife was told they had it. We stood there while the receptionist continued to look and stated we were a no show. We travel all the time and would never make a mistake like that. It was late so we ended up leaving after about 15 minutes or so. We did find the Marriott Courtyard. We will not try booking a stay at this hotel ever again. We were offered a room with 2 smaller beds but we had reserved a king with a sleeper sofa.

We stayed here recently on a road trip through NC and Virginia. We were glad we chose this hotel. It is conveniently located right off the interstate, close to an IHOP and with an Outback restaurant next door. Check in was quick and easy, the room nice, and I was especially impressed at the little extra things included in the room. There was a basket of make up removers, a shower cap, and even a shoe shine cloth. Also included were an extra supply of towels, which often come in handy. There is a guest laundry which I used, and I also enjoyed relaxing in the large breakfast area with large screen TV and computers for guests. The breakfast buffet is set out in an adjoining room, so it is a little more complicated to get to your breakfast table. This breakfast was the usual HI Exp., but complimentary cookies were provided every afternoon. All in all
I thought this hotel was a great value for the money, one of the less expensive hotels we stayed in on this trip, and one of the nicest of the trip.

We just selected holiday in express from what others had told us about them. Everyone was right -it is a wonderful hotel at a moderate price. The desk clerk when we checked in ,was so nice and the breakfast was wonderful. The room is clean and very comfortable !

Burlington and Elon is a wonderful place. People are nice and friendly. A good place for a relaxing and stress-free vacation. However, not for Long stay. 3 days to 1 week maximum. Can be bored to death! 😂😂😂

I stayed here for my family's annual reunion. This place had really nice staff. The room was clean along with everything else that we saw. They had breakfast in the morning. the usual items. There are many restaurants nearby and there us a Walmart very close as well.
