First, this is a fantastic HIE! Very clean with outstanding staff. We have stayed here in the past. We were immediately greeted at the check in desk and it was fast and efficient.
The ONLY reason I gave a 4 rating was a strange fact that the tub side is very tall and is difficult to climb over with arthritic knees. I mentioned this to desk staff, who said next time I could borrow a step stool. I do not remember these being this elevated in the past. Unsure if this is a result of a remodel or what. Simply poorly executed from the perspective of someone with minor mobility issues. This will not deter me from staying again next time.
Again very clean, quiet and has friendly staff.

We landed in Clanton quite by accident due to car trouble. We were a little stressed but even when I couldn't reach my husband on the phone, Deborah offered to call the dealership so I could speak with my husband. Everyone was very accommodating to our needs. This hotel has been recently renovated and is in basically good condition. The night we checked in Wendy was also very accommodating answering all the questions we asked and giving us information about the "rewards program" and signing us up.

Very pleasantly surprised! Newly remodeled & very clean. JADA @ front desk could not be more accommodating!! She has heart & sincerely tries to please every guest's request. She is a wonderful asset to this company! Rooms very comfy w/ HBO & CINAMAX (?). I will certainly stay again when trying to avoid crazy hustle/bustle of B'ham & Montgomery traffic!! And there is a WHATABURGER very close for fans of that establishment. Very very please with my stay. Hope to have opportunity to stay again.

Everything about our stay was easy.
Convenient to the interstate and while not a lot of food choices, the Whataburger at the bottom of the hill was really good after a long day of driving. Also, Peach Park made for an interesting stop (right next to Whataburger) - try the Peach shake.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff working were super helpful.

We stopped off the exit to get a bite to eat and saw the sign for the Holiday Inn Express and decided to call it a night. Booking was easy and check in was very smooth. There was a sign for a managers reception but we had just eaten and didn't check it out. Room was clean and inviting, and the water pressure was good.
After much needed rest, we were pleased by the breakfast options available. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, cereal, a pancake machine, juices, coffee, muffins... You name it I think they had it. All hotel staff were extremely friendly making the stay very enjoyable.
They have a small indoor pool but it was late when we arrived and the kids didn't feel like swimming but it looked very nice too!
