I stayed here during a friend's wedding for the weekend and his wedding was located in the exurbs of Guadalajara. The location itself is safe and there is a convenience store, Carl's Jr. and some restaurants in the same complex. The rooms
The Holiday Inn Express here has the basics you would want: a comfortable bed, a large room, TV with many channels (Spanish and English), breakfast each morning, and even a small fitness center with a treadmill, elliptical, and bike.
That said, there's nothing that's particularly luxurious here. I did go downtown from here, but rides can take 30 minutes just to go 3-4 miles to the center of town. But again, this is a Holiday Inn Express near the airport, not the Intercontinental in downtown. It's still better than most of the Holiday Inn Express'es I've been to in the USA.
I wouldn't go here for a romantic getaway, but for solo travel, it has the essentials I need.
Clean and comfortable place to stay in Guadalajara

The property was as good or better than most Holiday Inn Express locations in the U.S. This was in a convenient location, with lots of local restaurants on the same corner (Starbucks, convenience store, wing restaurant, etc). The staff was professional and helpful. The rooms clean and quiet with fast wifi. Free evening snacks and drinks were nice too.
Great location, clean rooms
antonyangon 09/03/2017 21:16The rooms are quite sizable. The breakfast and the gym simple. The lobby is quite nice. Shower pressure may be a little low at times, but the bed is very comfortable and had great sleep every single night. The walls seemed a little thin as I was able hear next door neighbor.
A place JUST to sleep, don't ask for something more
Ana Jon 15/02/2017 20:44The place is clean, and the room comfortable, but the lack everything else, the "gym" is just 1 runner, 1 elliptic machine and 1 static bike. Thing so basic as changing the language of the TV was a 1 hr deal!!
The walls are so thing that I could hear the guy on the room beside mine cutting his nails.
They are getting really cheap on amenities like, they provide Shampoo but no Conditioner. I will avoid staying here again as much as possible.
Basics Given but in desperate need of attention.
Guillermo Mon 16/09/2016 23:50Stayed for 12 Days so I had an opportunity to experience in depth. Breakfasts menu could use variety from day to day. My biggest issue was the frequent random issues with the cable keeping from fully unwinding after a full day at the office. Staff is friendly.
