What I thought was a good deal turned into $$. Made reservation online room was $80 then there was a $22 reservation charge then get there to check in and get hit with a $17 parking fee. First hotel I’ve had to pay for the room a booking fee and then a parking fee to park in the hotels parking lot.

Easy to get to being just off an interstate highway. Public car park adjacent to hotel and discounted parking tickets available from the hotel to display in your car. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a DIY but perfectly adequate for our needs. Room had a lovely view of the State House which offers free conducted tours.

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Location was perfect for us, being right across the street from the train station. We were also right across the street from Bushnell Park and the spectacular Capitol building.

Just on the edge of downtown making it possible to walk to dinner but even on the sixth floor we were awoken by the garbage truck in the early hours. Not the hotels fault of course just the location.
Also it had the loudest toilet on flushing so leave it until the morning!
Interesting breakfast where you can microwave sausage and egg bagels, a first for us.

This motel is very close to the train station and isn't in a great part of town. However, I had no issues staying here. I parked in the lot out back without problems. It was a 5 minute walk to where I was going to be working. The front desk attendant was extremely courteous and helpful when I checked in and gave me honest recommendations for a solo female venturing out to find dinner after dark. My room was clean and had what I needed. I was very happy with my stay.
The only thing I would recommend is a better wifi setup and adding 5Ghz wifi since the 2.4Ghz band had a lot of interference with hotspots and such in the evenings.
