in town for family get together this time.(Saturday night)
everything still great at this hotel.
Very accommodating.... they allowed us early check in and late check out.
Breakfast good!!
Pleasant girl keeping food fresh and available. thank you.
Outside grounds... clean, clean.
rooms and beds perfect. comfy.
They are still remodeling hotel ,but this did not bother us.
and the interstate is still under construction , but no problem with delays, this time.
good stay...will return when in orange.

While they were going through a remodel, we were happy with everything! Lisa helped with traveling information! Breakfast was filling. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the bathrooms clean! Staff very friendly! I would stay here again! I exercised in the morning, read the paper and relaxed by the pool!

The room was directly in front of the I-10 but from sound I had no complain. The room had a musty odor, which after some minutes you are used too, until you have left the room again for some time. The breakfast place was simple, plastic plates, plastic knife and fork and for a 3 star hotel the offer was really poor. The price of 165$ is way to much in the current state of the hotel as there is also no option to have dinner in the hotel and I even rate 80-100$ would be better. Would I return? If the rennovation is completed maybe, just to check if they improved and to update my review. WIFI was great by the way

As of April 23, 2017, there is major highway construction on I-10
in front of this hotel. Looks like it may be going on for quite sometime.
All I-10 eastbound traffic was being diverted to frontage road this morning.
As for hotel itself: friendly, helpful check in and out.
Clean & fresh smelling room. Fast elevator (2nd floor) Nice, hot breakfast. Fast WIFI.
Comfy beds and pillows ,labeled "soft" and "firm"
There is some hotel renovation being done, and the breakfast room is
temporarily re-located. However, we did not encounter any problems
due to renovation.(no noise, trash, bldg. materials, etc)
They also allowed our dog for a small fee. Large grassy area in back to walk him.
We would definitely stay here again when in Orange.
Finally, if you ARE a light sleeper, you might want to request a room
not facing the interstate.

I'm blown away and shocked at the raving reviews for this hotel. This was one of the dirtiest places I've stayed in a long time. We arrived late at night and were just staying here to pass through town which was the only reason I didn't leave.
Room - There were stains on the walls all over the place (next to the TV, by the couch, near the desk). I get one stain or mark, but seriously, I have no clue what these stains were nor did I want to ask.. And they were large marks, not just small things. There was a musty odor/dampness in the room. The AC unit was on, and never really cooled the room off.
This hotel is undergoing a renovation (entire 3rd floor) which is a good thing. I'm assuming it's being gutted and cleaned up. The breakfast area was temporarily relocated, which was no big deal.
Staff: Tiffany is a great asset to this hotel. She was pleasant and worked with me with our issue (We booked the double king suite and had a confirmation showing such. when we arrived, I was told we were in a double queen and the price was the same. NO, I don't think so! While we did get a slightly reduced rate, I had to ask for compensation/remedy to the error).
Bottom line, the renovation will be good for this place, as I felt dirty and gross leaving the next day.
