Stayed here once before and forgot about how loud it was on the street side. Once again got on the street side an and is very noisy. The bathroom was insanely tiny and the room was adequate. Staff was pleasant and tried to make you feel at home.
Won't stay again solely due to the noise and way to many other choices within a small radius.

I came to Hunt Valley to visit family. I need a hotel for two nights . I spent all day with my family so I just needed a place to sleep. Let's start with the building . It is old . Some things have been redone, but those things now need to be redone again. Where I parked in the parking garage there are piles of trash bags piled up ( right where you go in to the hotel. No dumpster no cans . Just piles of trash . My room key didn't even work . So I had to get in my car and drive back around the hotel and get a new key . When the girl at the desk made me a key ( she was nice ) asked me my room number and made me a key . Never asked to see id or for a name to verify I was supposed to be in the room. When I went to the fitness room all three machines were on there last legs and beeping . And the water dispenser was empty ( the kind you put another bottle on top .) so I gave up on that . Super disappointed because I like to do cardio and was told that there was a fitness room . My sink in my room barely drains . The beds are ok not comfortable and not uncomfortable. There are small stains on my duvet cover . I come here every few months to visit family and I will not stay here again . This hotel is not cheap it is over $120 a night . And not worth it . Definitely not up to par with the Holiday inn express I stayed in previously in Savannah, Charlottesville, and Greenville. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location is great .

This is a very comfortable hotel that I've stayed at so often it's like my home away from home . Lots of places nearby to eat and you won't go wrong if you get yourself a crab cake sandwich ! Also there's a Chilis attached to the hotel and the food there is good also . I rate the Holiday Inn Express in Hunt Valley a great place to stay if you have to be away from home .

Booked for the extra points. Check in was great, the associate was very polite and enthusiastic, smiled, was impressed with her professionalism. The room was decent but the air unit was not working so the room temp was 74 despite adjusting the thermostat. The water in the facet from the sink was brown for a few minutes. Not sure what that was all about. Asked for a late check out, as spires we can check out at 2, they said 1 but housekeeping was knocking at 12:15, I guess they don’t communicate who is checking out late.
You can hear everything in the hall and while walking in the hall from the rooms.

Easy access to groceries, restaraunts, and local business park, for short term stays this is a decent place.
It’s really in need of a refurb.
The view out my window overlookined the back parking lot which is very small, lined with trees, behind which is a power station. Just to the north of the hotel is a veterinary hospital with boarding facilities.
The dogs did tend to bark at suppertime, but it was not at odd hours or intrusive barking.
The breakfast is the usual fare with the pancake printer, scrambled eggs, breads, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, breakfast meats, coffee and juices.
It’s nothing special, but it’s included with the room and it’s satisfying.
The front desk staff was friendly and efficient on check in, check out, and any requests.
Ice machines are on every other floor so make sure you’re properly dressed before venturing out for the bucket of ice.
A mini-fridge and microwave in the room as well as the pod-coffee maker makes it easy to get snacks, beverages, and a few groceries so you do not HAVE to go out for every meal.
Not the finest location I’ve visited, but again, for a short, business stay it gets the job done.
