Staff at this hotel was nice, but after traveling on the road for a week, could not get any sleep while the truck stop with all the trucks coming in and out as well as a trucking depot next to the hotel made me leave the hotel worst than I was before getting there and ended up going to Chicago to get some sleep before continuing on my trip. Too many trucks in and out. Too much noise.

This facility was an excellent value and hit on all cylinders. The pool was good but could have been warmer. The new 2 day cancellation policy for members is going to cause us a problem some day when weather interferes. I will not be a happy camper. This could cause us to check out Non IHG hotels.

My room was quiet and clean. The free breakfast was very good. A grocery store was a very short drive from the hotel. You can see the hotel from the highway but need to travel a few blocks off the highway to reach the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

As expected from this chain. No problem with check in and the room was clean and tidy with clean bathroom. Included breakfast was fine again to the standard you would expect with some hot items as well as the usual fare

I stayed here in 2014 for 3 days, and I gave it a 5-star rating, praising it for excellent condition with good value.
Now 3 years later I re-visited for a night. The hotel is no longer what I remembered. This is supposed to be a smoke-free hotel, but the whole building - corridor, lobby, even room, is filled with a smoke smell. Not very strong, but definitely existing.
The swimming pool also changed. It was clean and nice despite it was crowded. Now it is still crowded, but there is a strong unpleasant smell as soon as we walk in. The water appears dirty - cannot quite see the bottom - and smells bad.
Breakfast seems even worse. The pancake machine spit out unevenly cooked pancake. The bread is hard. Omelette is hard. Nothing to write home about.
The two things that didn't change, one is human - the staff is still very friendly. Coffee is still nice.
