This is no longer a Holiday inn. It is a travelodge.
This is going to be the best Travelodge around liverpool. It is still being refurbished but already is impressive. There is also an area for food within the hotel and breakfast is a good deal. Kids eat free with adult.Or McDonalds is a mile up the road. Rooms are really nice. The reception area is amazing with comfy seating area.. Staff went out of their way to help. My only criticism is we were on the 5th floor and the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy for me but that could still be under the refurbishments. My daughter slept through it but it took a while before it stopped and I got to sleep. Traffic was very minimal altho we didnt sleep on the road side. Car park is quite big and free.
Overnight stay before flight

This hotel is currently being taken over by travelodge and there was confusion on our booking as we had paid Holiday Inn but travelodge only had us down as a walk in
Rooms are very basic but served a purpose
We had paid holiday inn £5 per night to leave our car in the car park but travelodge said they don’t charge!
What a lovely Surprise

My Mum and I were flying out of Liverpool Airport early on a Saturday morning so I booked the Holiday Inn plus Long Stay Car Park with Holiday Extras for a bargain price. We were notified that the Holiday Inn had been taken over by Travelodge and Mum was horrified as she had vowed never to stay in a Travelodge again. This experience was fabulous - can't praise the staff enough they were funny; helpful; kind and so nice!! The room we had, whilst inevitably basic, was so comfortable, clean and well equipped. We couldn't work out how to switch the radiator on and within minutes of me asking on reception a lovely gentlemen came up to show us and we were very soon toastie. Breakfast on Saturday morning was scheduled for 8am when I said that this might be a little bit late for us I was told that they would get I ready early especially for us. It was ready and was fabulous - lots of cereals; yoghurt; lovely fresh fruit. Then there was a really good choice of great quality hot food along with toast and preserves. Juices and tea or coffee. I actually would not have minded spending more time at this great stopover Hotel. Thank you
Going the extra mile

We had a very last minute booking at this hotel as we got locked out of our car at the airport due to a pickpocket in Barcelona. The staff at this hotel went the extra mile to accommodate us all at short notice. Daniel who checked us in at that time was very helpful and pleasant. Couldn't ask for e better welcome. We checked in at 5am and the manager who we saw upon waking up was called Stacy and she was very very helpful. We only had a few hours sleep due to checking in late and despite only having 5 minutes before the end of breakfast, Stacy said we could eat free, as we had had a very bad time of it on our holidays, which we felt was going the extra mile, as she could have charged us £8 plus each. Very nice food too! The duty manager Stacy said we could also have a 2 hour late check out, as we were trying to get a new car key sorted. She even called us a cab when we checked out. Would definitely recommend to anyone. This hotel is in the process of being changed to travelodge at this moment but don't let that put you off as the standards are great. Rooms are up to premier inn quality I would say. Very happy!
Very modern

The hotel has modern and clean, but the rooms are very small, and had only one chair. The desk folk spoke fluent scouse, which made communication difficult. You have to enter a passcode to exit the parking lot.
