Budget hotel...would I stay again?

The Trip Advisor reviews described this hotel as clean and convenient to the airport, hence the primary reasons I selected it. It’s about a 12 minute ride via taxi. You should be prepared to pay $21 to $25 euros each way to the Hotel.

Downside: The hotel is isolated with limited options for meals. You can walk across the catwalk where there are two meal choices, a Chinese restaurant or grill. We ate at the grill which was not bad.

The hotel does not have a fitness center if you planned to work out like I had. The customer service at the front desk could be improved (maybe it was cultural) and the carpet on the floor where we stayed (3rd) was soiled (had an unpleasant odor). The breakfast is shall we say modest although breakfast is included. Please don’t go down stairs hungry.

On the plus side, the room was pretty clean although small. It’s a good choice for budget travelers. We paid around $80 US for one night. The litmus test is whether you would make the same choice in hindsight. If I needed a hotel close to the airport for one night and could not find another comparable in price budget hotel, yes. I personally couldn’t stay at this property for more than a night unless I had no other options.

The low score: location, lack of proximity to eateries, soiled carpet, poor breakfast, front desk customer service (again, may have been cultural), no shuttle to Hotel from airport and no fitness center.

Food Service very bad!

There is no restaurant in the hotel.
They provide a room service of a Pizza restaurant, however they are completely disorganized.
You need to go in the reception to take the order and wait around 40min to receive the food delivery, unfortunately not in your room (in reception) and can't be added to the room cost. My direct experience was even worst when after an hour I discovered that actually the order wasn't transmitted to the restaurant, and by that time all the restaurant were closed.
Very bad experience.

We were on a guided coach tour of Spain and Madrid is one of many stops along the way. We don't have high expectations knowing this is a low budget hotel chosen by our tour operator. Room is quite clean and wifi just ok. Breakfast is another matter altogether. The hotel staff gave our group a 7:30am time slot for breakfast. However when we got to the cafeteria there is no food left!!. A group of tourists before us have consumed all the food - this being continental breakfast buffet. We couldn't even find a clean cup for coffee or juice. There is only one kitchen staff working that morning and she was completely overwhelmed by the number of patrons at the time. It wasn't her fault as she tried hard to replenish the empty plates and bowls. The hotel management knew how many tour groups are going to be having breakfast that morning and they should have been better organized to avoid the chaos that took place in the kitchen. I would have rated this hotel a little higher but the (non-existent) breakfast experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.

it's a holiday inn. nothing special, nothing bad.

The hotel is just your average holiday inn. Clean rooms, friendly staff, but nothing fancy. Breakfast buffet was decent. Interesting plus (or minus, depending on your world view) is the rover dealer on the ground floor of the building, if you like to ogle british cars go for it :)

This is a cheap no frills hotel. Lots of families taking advantage of it for a low cost stay with good access to central Madrid and close proximity to airport. Breakfast is fine but nothing to write home about
