Nice hotel. Clean and the evening cocktails and appetizers were nice after a long day of traveling. Front desk clerk was very nice. The hotel looked new and was well kept. Parking lot was well lit with spaces close to the doors.

For us, this Holiday Inn Express was just not up to the standard we have come to expect of this chain. First, there was no one at the desk when we arrive around 8:30 pm. We rang the bell, but we had to wait over 5 minutes before someone came to check us in - and we were not the only ones waiting. The person who did arrive was not unpleasant, but neither was she particularly friendly. We get that. It was getting late and obviously something else was going on that kept her from the desk. But, there was no hot water in our room. At the sink, there was a bit, but the pressure was so low when the hot was turned on that it just dribbled out. In the shower, we never got more than tepid water. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and quiet, but that lack of hot water was a deal breaker. I would have to rethink staying here a second time.

I'm a Marriott kind of guy but couldn't find any within close proximity to the highway, so I gave the Holiday Inn Express in Salina, Kansas a try.
I was more than pleasantly surprised, in a good way, on this facility. The rooms were clean with a very friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Prior reservation on returning visit to holiday inn express with front desk person had a smile and welcoming us as a return guest with our request recognized, one of which was extra towels which we were immediately handed and assured of our other needs requested. We had a 2 night stay, bed very comfortable with quietness. Our blackout curtains coverage was a little short. Overall room very clean and comfortable setup with WiFi. Breakfast included with ample food and fruit, wonderful coffee, cinnamon rolls. Great family place. All staff were very friendly.

This hotel looked almost brand new and had everything a place needs. Lobby seating indoor and out, a small bar, and breakfast. The room was designed differently, but it worked really well. There was a couch and desk divided off from the bedroom area. I would stay there again.
