Good stay
Sue Con 10/11/2017 02:03Great hotel. Stayed 5 nights for the Trillium Championships at Caledon Equestrian Park. Approximately 35 minute drive one way to the park. Hotel met all our needs. Comfortable beds. Microwave. Fridge. Interesting there was no safe. Only downfall was the breakfast starts too late (6am). We had to leave before that time. Lots of Tims and other coffee shops along the way. Gas station right at the entrance to hotel. Would stay again.
Not up to standards
Attendeeon 25/10/2017 22:00I stayed here one night to attend a course in Newmarket. The exterior and common areas are nicely presented. The room appeared clean, had a fridge & microwave and a Keurig coffee maker which only came with coffee - no tea or hot chocolate pods. The bathroom was another story. There was a huge crack in the bathroom sink, the taps and bathtub needed a good scrubbing. Then when I was ready to go to bed I tried to close the curtains and discovered the rod only covered a third of the window on each side. I asked at the front desk in case I had missed something and the lady said she would come and take a look. She never arrived. All that covered the windows was sheers so I dressed in the bathroom. The room was across from the Toyota dealership complete with neon lights so I ended up propping pillows to block the neon lights. The next morning I went in the elevator and discovered someone had thrown up in there. Not surprising since there was some loud partying going on the night before. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but served the purpose. Won't stay here again.
Very nice hotel
Arthur Mon 04/10/2017 00:20Stayed 1 night to attend memorial party for a recently departed friend and this was very handy.
Easy to find, friendly welcome and easy check-in. Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom very clean and all amenities just like you expect in a Holiday Inn Express.
Breakfast was the usual offerings but well presented and the hot food very hot with good coffee.
I would definitely stay here again.

skysoleilbluon 24/08/2017 03:34The broken closet mirror held together with duct tape was a great first impression. I was so tired when I arrived I didn't even ask to switch rooms. At least the bed was comfy. Lots of "not my long black hair" in the bathroom and around the room. Glad to leave in the morning....sorry to say but the truth.
Do NOT stay here.
123Neonon 21/08/2017 21:49First they messed up our reservation - I booked 2 adjoining rooms as my dad was watching my infant son while we went to a wedding. I confirmed with the woman on the phone that they'd be connected - that is why i booked this hotel compared to other offered. Arrive and they didn't have adjoining rooms. The staff said I booked it online and it was my fault - I didn't I booked it on the phone to confirm the adjoining rooms. I begrudgingly accepted the situation though no apologies were offered. We took side by side rooms.
Our room didn't have the requested crib. Had to wait even though we requested ahead of time and were in a rush to get to the wedding.
My fathers room had dirty pillows and the toilet didn't work.
Our rooms tub didn't have a stopper.
My fathers room was changed - he was moved to a suite as we needed him to stay close to watch my son - they then tried to charge us for a room upgrade even though it was their fault.
