The perfect spot!!
James7764on 01/10/2017 10:32We stayed here while on a visit to see family. Located about 40 miles south of the Detroit Metro Airport. The hotel is modern and very clean. Very pleasant staff. An excellent complimentary breakfast. Room was very nice, and well appointed. Hotel is located with easy access to the freeway. Large grocery store, and several fast food restaurants are located within short walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

joeysm0on 13/08/2017 01:23The gal at the front desk seemed like she didn't want to be there. She was leaning on the counter and had her phone out. She didn't tell me about my IHG chick in points. Breakfast was pretty decent though. A little messy..

Jeff Fon 08/08/2017 00:05Let me start off by saying that I've been an IHG Rewards Club member for many years. Prior to my recent retirement I spent roughly 150 nights per year in hotels all across the country. This was the eleventh night of a five week road trip and hotel number ten of sixteen different hotels we stayed in. Good size room and good size bathroom with a nice shower, but the toilet seat is loose. The TV was good as was the internet. Comfy bed and pillows. The front desk girl was too serious, not friendly. Hotel is close to gas station and restaurants. The breakfast was good but no butter. Dirty tables in the breakfast room and trash on the carpet, I had to change my seat because it had syrup on it. There were no pancakes. The machine said, "load bag". I went to talk with the lady at the counter and she said, "It is not my job, but I will do what I can." She then saw the lady that works on breakfast and she said that the machine was not working. Printer not working in the business center. Lady at the front desk said, "It has not been working for few days." I couldn't print what I need to print and lady at front desk did not offer the service. The hotel is across the street from a truck stop.

Paul_inSunPrairieon 01/08/2017 19:22We stayed at the HI Express on July 3. The motel is across the street from a truck stop, so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room opposite of this. Relatively easy to get to regarding the highway system (which also made it noisier). Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare.
