The highlight of my stay (with a large group of High School Students) was Theresa Linder, the supervisor for the breakfast area. Our group’s leaders had planned an early start without realizing that the breakfast area was not open at this early hour. However, Theresa is so organized and prepared that her breakfast bar was ready to launch already. When she realized that our large group (including hungry teen boys) would have to go out without breakfast otherwise, she quickly decided to allow us to access the breakfast bar including the hot foods and also told us that should we need the early breakfast tomorrow, she would make sure it was good to go. The food was excellent and fresh, and the dining area spotless.
Otherwise the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, with both a firm and a soft pillow option. The bathrooms were well equipped. The hallways had a stale smell when we visited; as I am a person who thinks that if something is clean it should smell clean, this would have been enough to knock this rating down to a 4. However, Theresa was enough to bring it up to a 6, so that averaged to 5 stars!

We had all kinds of issues with our room - some of them were resolved some were not. Once we managed to end the unsolicited wake up calls (two nights in a row) we had a good sleep for the rest of our stay here.
There were issues with the shower, which were fixed - at least in a way we could manage it. (The next room occupant will probably have a problem as it was not permanently fixed.) And issues with the lock on the door (never really fixed, but we learned to how to deal with it.)
Through all of this, the desk clerks were sympathetic and helpful. They were alway friendly and we really liked all the hotel staff - from the maintenance man to Theresa in the breakfast area. All the front desk people were very helpful.
Lots of towels, great bed coverings that allow for adjusting to heat and cold. Lots of space in the room for luggage, and nice mirrors in the room. Large bathroom. Convenient to the Metro - you can walk or take the free hotel shuttle. This was the main reason we booked this hotel and it made it easy to get into DC.
Not a lot of restaurants nearby, but the Rio Buffet (Chinese/American) is very good.
Overall, we would stay here again.

This was our second time staying at the holiday in express in Camp Springs Maryland we called ahead to make sure that Theresa Linder and the breakfast service were still there if it was not for her we would have chosen another place she is wonderful and always makes sure you feel special with the comforts of home. Love her always.

Rooms was great
I had 3 separte rooms
excellent
room was clean and fresh
we went out they even supply a take order for food which was great for my grandkidz

Came to this location for a nice getaway. Property is a hidden gem. I instantly fell in love with Marvin at the front desk and Ms.Theresa the breakfast attendant. They made my stay worth wild. I will definitely come back to this property in a heart beat. Keep up the fabulous work!!!
