jennysSudburyon 21/11/2017 00:16Girls' weekend visiting friends. Stayed for 2 nights (Oct. 27 - 28). Excellent staff and friendly service. They even helped us with our luggage. Good variety for breakfast. Easy access to Hwys 401 and 407. Close to the Pickering Markets, Pickering Centre and Oshawa Centre. Quiet, clean and comfy! Love the Keurig machine in the room :)
Our best experience in a hotel in this area so far! Thank you.
Surprized
twinzzz11on 08/11/2017 18:06Was very Surprized by the accessible room and its amenities.
Having had hip surgery 10 days prior to our stay, I called the hotel directly to inquire about the accessible rooms. The person I spoke to either did not know what I was talking about or had no idea what the hotel/room had (needed a transfer bench to get into the tub/shower as well as higher toilet). I almost cancelled the reservation but my husband assured me we'd make it work.
Was so happy when we checked in to find that the room did indeed have what I needed to make our stay easier and more enjoyable.
Staying for a Wedding
CGE85on 24/10/2017 19:11Overall our stay here was satisfactory. We stayed for one night as it was the recommended place for a wedding we attended. As there were four adults we booked a two room suite, one king bed and then a pull out couch in the other room. This was advertised as being able to sleep four people. When we got to the room after the reception at approximately 1:00 a.m. we pulled out the couch for one couple to sleep on. The mattress on the couch was AWFUL. The bars of the pull out could be felt through the mattress. We pulled the mattress off the couch onto the floor and the couple had a horrible sleep as the mattress was so old it did nothing to cushion them. This should not have been recommended as a room for four people. After speaking with the front desk I was advised that they would speak with the manager and advise him to place more "points" on my card (which they enrolled me in) but have yet to see those points. For the price of the room I expected more. Next time I will stay at the Marriot next door, or the Motel 6 across the street....at least its beds are comfortable.
Short business trip
Nadia Gon 21/10/2017 13:31I stayed there for a week on a short business trip and I totally enjoyed everything - the room itself, the front-desk staff was always ready to help and very nice, breakfasts choice - would stay there once more if I had to go to Whitby.
Not to my expectations
MANUEL Gon 18/09/2017 22:35I recently stayed at this location for a short business trip. I arrived late and just wanted to get to bed. Both side table lamps were not working, which was a bit of an inconvenience, but no biggie. In the morning I noticed the ceiling fan in the bathroom...... don't you guys own a vacuum!? I won't be staying here again as if
this is what I could see.... what about the stuff that you ca........ I'll just leave it at that.
