As a Platinum Ambassador, we have never been upgraded at this property which is a bit strange (actually spent two nights on this trip - to and return) with no upgrade. Staff are friendly and helpful in terms of advising places to go for good food or sights. Can definitely recommend the hotel as very convenient, clean, and freindly, helpful staff. One of the better Holiday Inns that we have stayed.

Even before you arrive they are making sure everything is good for your stay.
It is a convenient location near several restaurants also.
Great Stay
Phyllis-OHon 14/11/2017 14:25This is a mid-point stop for us when visiting family in South Carolina. The hotel was great; the suite was especially nice for the privacy. But the overall good-rating for us comes from the quality of service delivered by every single staff person we encountered! I don't know who is training the staff in "customer service", but I do want to compliment them on their success. To stay at a hotel with great service and gracious attitudes is such a pleasure. High ratings to all of you!
Beckley, WV equals small rooms!
Richard Mon 07/11/2017 20:41We stay in Beckley, WV at least 4 times a year. No matter which property we stay at the rooms are tiny. We gave up on Hampton Inn's. While the room was clean and satisfactory I cannot say enough good things about the breakfast food at in house KEMS. If you try this property, try the in-house restaurant--KEMS!
Clean and quiet
Bstrykeron 20/10/2017 17:44We stopped here on our way to visit family in NC. The front desk was efficient and friendly at 11pm when we arrived. Our room was clean and quiet. We appreciated that the bedroom could be closed off from the living room area. It appears to have had some updates and refreshing. Would stay again if needed.
