First time that we have stayed in a Holiday Inn so it was a new experience. Only stayed the one night so not really a true reflection. However, for the one night it was very pleasant, clean, very spacious rooms, extremely friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you and bar prices nothing over the top. Nothing to put me off stopping again.

I attended a weekend seminar which was held at this hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the buffet breakfast was well cooked, hot and well presented the main menu had a good selection which is reasonably priced also a selection of freshly prepared specials.
Its central location makes it a ideal base for the tourist attractions that Leicester has to offer and the main shopping centre is short walk away.
One word of caution I stayed in room 217 which overlooks a flat roof which has air conditioning units situated on it you do get a small amount background noise from them this didn't cause me any disturbance but could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.
I would have no problem with returning for another stay or recommending it to anyone else.

The hotel is beautifully clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the drinks reasonably priced. Such a comfortable bed and the pillows were superb. A handy car park next to the hotel and an extremely efficient reception check in and out.The breakfast offered everything you could possibly want and beautifully cooked and all hot items hot.

One night stop whilst in Leicester, like the IHG brand so picked this one. Great location in the middle of town, car park opposite, no road to cross. Good spacious room, comfortable bed. Good pool and Jacuzzi. Very good breakfast in a pleasant restaurant. Very helpful staff re late check out and good room service.

Spent a single night at the hotel. Had booked on line direct with IHG using a IHG basic membership I have had for a number of years.
Arrived at the hotel in the centre of Leicester. When we went to check in we discovered we had been upgraded to an executive room. Also we received a club biscuit each for being members.
Room was very pleasant on 6th floor close to the lift.
The hotel was very busy as there was a wedding on. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine except that some of the tiles needed some attention as they were at imminent risk of falling off.
Breakfast the following morning was a buffet with plenty of choice,
The service at the hotel in reception was good and also at breakfast.
There is a £10 per day charge for using the car park next to the hotel.
The main shopping area is next to the hotel, since its essentially in the middle of a roundabout it takes a few minutes the first time to find your way off the roundabout via a pedestrian crossing - its very busy so a quick rush across the road is not really a viable option.
All in all a reasonable city centre hotel - just wish I'd remembered my swimming gear as it has a pool.
