Brilliant weekend at the Holiday Inn Lincoln, we got engaged and the hotel were amazing in upgrading us to a executive bedroom overlooking the marina and gave us some champagne too! Totally spoilt and nothing was too much trouble for them, friendly and hospitable. Lovely sports bar attached to the hotel, wasn’t too expensive and opened all night. Hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location to the city centre. Car parking was £5 per night but was good to know the car was in a safe place.
The hotel was on a lovely little row of restaurants and a cinema, perfect location. We will definitely be going back there again, couldn’t have asked for a better hotel and the staff were brilliant!

We loved our stay here last week. The hotel was spotless. We had 2 double beds in our room.
The view from our room was straight onto the quay.
Only problem for people with mobility problems, this hotel is a 15 minute walk up a very steep hill to get to the cathedral, or get a taxi.

We've stayed here a few times using it to visit our son at the Uni, now he works for the Uni the stays keep happening!!
Tried to book using my IHG reference but the account had been suspended for some reason, the calls to IHG were a little frustrating so gave it a miss and just booked the hotel (it would have been a £5 saving).
Booked in at Reception with Lisa, had a chat about IHG, she sorted it all out, got my account back on line, had a new pin sent through and didn't charge me the £5 parking to make up, excellent service, above and beyond!!!!!
Room was as usual clean, choice of pillows, shower and bathroom facilities very good.
We had a drink in the bar before we went out, bar staff were polite and helpful.
We had breakfast, a choice of cereals, fruit juices, bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, toast, all well presented and in plenty supply!!
Check out was fast, we were allowed to leave the car in the car park while we spent the day in town.
If you need a hotel close to town at a reasonable price and well presented, this is the place to stay!

Located on the Waterfront and only a short 10/15 min walk from the older historic centre this was an ideal place to stay. With a car park on site and our 3rd floor room having views over the waterfront this provided exactly what was required. A friendly greeting on arrival our room was clean and well appointed with bath and shower over which was great as well as the spacious room with air-conditioning as required. With a number of chain style restaurants adorning the area there is plenty of choice to eat as well as the option of the on-site restaurant or the range of independent venues in the older part of the city.

This hotel is in a super location for exploring Lincoln and there are lots of bars & restaurants nearby. The hotel is ok but could be much better with a bit of attention to detail. I noticed that someone had spilled something in the reception area I pointed it out but it still hadn’t been cleared up over an hour later. Our room was lovely but little niggles could have been improved, our sink was cracked & the plug didn’t work & the toilet had a habit of running.
