From the outside it looked like a new hotel, but the interior was in need for renovation. The elevator was old and slow. The room was nice with adequate bathroom but the furniture was a bit tired. The breakfast was a joke, very basic, cold food, cold coffee, a breakfast for the looser. The WiFi was simply unusable.

Reading many reviews of this hotel suggested that I was in for a miserable stay. The hotel was bright and clean, with very helpful staff. Easy check-in and a very comfortable room was exactly what we needed after 800 miles on the road. We both slept soundly! Breakfast was excellent, a big airy room and everything you could with for in a breakfast buffet. We originally went into the 'tour bus' restaurant but were soon dispatched to the 'superior' room. Plastic cups in the former are down to the operators costs rather than the hotel's meanness.
So,a great place to overnight on your way to and from southern Italy, right on the motorway, fuel right outside and fast end efficient service. Great!

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. The breakfast was OK and there was plenty there, but not so good if you are a vegetarian. The down side is that you really need a car to,get around, even if uts only to the Metro stations.

Despite all the bad reviews I actually have positive things to say about the hotel
Well it's true that you have to go by car wherever you want because the hotel it's not well localizated, and it's also true that the air conditionner didn't work.
I attended to an event in this hotel so I didn't have the problem of transport, even to the station we had a transfer, otherwise I would have to take a cab.
I really appreciated most of the staff, the room was cleaned and the food was good.
As a hotel for tourists I don't recomend it only because it doens't have a pedestrian acess and it's really far from the centre. Despite this, I think the Hotel is pretty fine and as I attended an event there was everything perfect to me.

Despite reading so many bad reviews, I chose to trust "IHG" brand and book the hotel for 3 nights. However, all the bad reviews started to be TURE the moment I stepped in hotel.
1. The reception does not have the facility to add my IHG number to the booking, so NO room upgrade!!
2. There is no Iron available in the night, so I had to wake up earlier in the morning to call for an Iron.
3. The room Air conditioner was not working, so I had to open windows to cool down BUT then you will face the highway full of big trucks. So I was feeling like sleeping in middle of roadside.
4. I asked for Shaving kit and I was handed shaving cream in a plastic. The amount is not even enough for half of my face.
5. I asked for a taxi and I got something like Limousin (which I did not ask). So I had to pay 35 Euro for something that I would pay 20 Euro normally!
6. The room was for no smoking but it had a very strange smell which I felt very bad all night.
I (may) receive a "Thank you. We are sorry but not sorry" from the hotel management but my recommendation to them is to "Listen to all bad reviews and take some actions instead".
The recommendation to guests, Don't go for IHG brand and listen carefully to each individual review as they are very helpful to have a good stay.
