A Nice Hotel with Disappointments
Big_Globe_Traveleron 19/11/2017 11:22This is hotel is quite nice. It has everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Here’s my disappointment, I selected this hotel because it said it offered airport shuttle service. Well it does, but only 8 AM to 5 PM. Come on hotel management, add that to your information.
no security no sleep but lovely hotel
Judy Hon 29/10/2017 14:03A lively group of screaming clients ascended to the fourth floor near our room. Woke us up with their noise and banging walls- we called front desk several times and no security was sent - asked for adjustment but never received a call or communication from Holiday Inn Montgomery Airport South. great place to stop if you don't want to get a few hours of peaceful sleep.
Little hotel no parking
Wilhelm8204on 22/10/2017 03:42The hotel is decent for the holiday inn brand and standard amenities . I have no issues in this department.
I drive a display vehicle. It requires 6 parking spaces, which i understand is considerable. Upon arrive I was asked to relocate to a dirt lot .25 miles away. I was told ....due to capacity issues in the lot.
The lot never filled up....and 2 tour busses and and charter buss with trailer parked in the lot. Still, the lot never filled more than half full. I was told busses and trailers are allowed but not trucks and trailers.
Just disappointed.
Disappointing
Pat Jon 08/10/2017 17:22The staff is a mess here. As soon as i walked in i could tell they were operating in complete confusion. I checked in and got a room that was not what I reserved then I go back downstairs and find out that they gave the next guy the same room whom I passed getting off the elevator. They gave me a 2 queen room like I reserved then gave me 2 free breakfasts which was a nice gesture. The next morning I was preparing to head to breakfast downstairs when they had a fire and evacuated so I didn't get to use the free breakfast. Once I returned to my room and got in the shower, I noticed that there was hair everywhere in the shower and the curtain and walls were absolutely filthy. Based on my limited interaction with this place it would be safe to assume that there's a lot more shady things going on behind the scene. I'm actually kinda glad I didn't eat here. I am an IHG gold member and am staying here under reward points so I frequent IHG hotels and this one is the lowest quality I have ever experienced. If you're looking for a decent place here I would suggest the holiday inn express off of I-85. They have their stuff together.
CURTIS IS AMAZING
kellafella24601on 16/09/2017 23:31Curtis is by far the nicest person I've ever met at a hotel. He is disciplined and esteemed, traits he gained from his service in the military. Curtis made my stay at this hotel enjoyable, during the busiest time for the hotel, as families piled in for the Air Force OTS graduation. He went above and beyond what he was required to make sure my friends and I had a comfortable stay.
I've read reviews about him being rude, and I believe this is a fault of the customer's own, not having the common sense of understanding and patience. I'm realizing that even the nicest people can have the most untruthful reviews placed on them, by people who do not acknowledge and appreciate their efforts. The hospitality business is no easy thing, and isn't for everyone to work in. Curtis truly felt like a friend. He never let anything go without trying it first. In a world where we forget ourselves behind technology and current events, Curtis brings us back into it with his kind smile, his open personality, and pursuit to make things right.
I 10/10 would recommend seeing Curtis. He is always there.
