The hotel is great, the rooms are relaxing and the restaurant/bar are divine, but even better still is the friendliness and attentiveness of all the staff.

Mercedesmadmanon 09/11/2016 20:53Stayed here and arrived very late. Good recognition for Spire and very friendly staff. Room was very good and bed comfy. Shower nice and powerful. Breakfast good too with excellent choices. Handy location.

jguyson 25/09/2016 07:47They really let down a visiting party of 34 from England. Room was clean, but badly fitted and maintained, basin faulty, bulbs failed. Evening meal, served in a conference room, was disgraceful, over-cooked, on cold plates, nobody finished. They apologised and offered a free drink. Sweet after was very modest! Breakfast in morning was served in same room, no cloth on table, insect crawling about, no milk except UHT in carton, Nesquik! Waiting staff at both meals insufficient.

Marree Son 25/09/2016 07:10We stayed here for one night whilst travelling with our excellent local coach company. What a disaster, we were put in a conference room for our two meals, service was slow, over three hours for dinner. Main course was cold and tasteless, breakfast basic. Rooms ok but tea tray inadequately stocked, bathroom quirky, or at least basin is. Motto is do not stay whilst travelling with a tour they are unable to cope with large numbers of guests.

JABno1on 10/09/2016 08:29Stop off hotel from our way home from Italy. Perfect location. Great hotel, with a nice pool and services nearby. Room was clean, with a fantastic bathroom- separate walk in shower and big bath.
Lots of restaurants nearby in walking distance.
Susan, who worked on the breakfast buffet deserves a special mention, nothing was too much for her. She made us feel special.
