The rooms are being improved but they are still ofering Club rooms when the Club is still clossed. Just a glass of wine and soft drinks for the "happy hour" and few eating options and a standard breakfast for booking a Club Room.

Clean and spacious rooms.
I like do reservation for international hotels in china like IHG group. due to easy communication and fast reply thru email.
but We have felt bad experience and worry about safety due to we are arrived Guangzhou at mid night. i need some who can advice us. But this time i have encountered the email sent without reply till i send email to IHG Group customer service.
in here I appreciated Mr.Huang replied. and he is well to answer my question and clear my doubt.
another Cons is , the Lift to Lobby , really really very smelly. this is very bad image to the hotel for 1st step in.

Booked two rooms and stayed two nights on a family trip to South China
Pros
+ Probably the best location to explore old Guangzhou (Xiguan a.k.a. Liwan district)
+ Nearby three subway stations - 10 mins walk
+ Very spacious rooms and bathrooms
Cons
- The "signature" smell in the lift to lobby on the 4th floor (from the food stalls outside the hotel) is the most memorable part of the stay for me and my family
- IHG membership services were a bit off compared to other Holiday Inns during the same trip - no welcome drink offered, no priority check-in/out offered, and missed my stay in IHG account history
In general, I chose and liked the hotel primarily (if not singularly) because of the location. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the area.

I have stayed 4 times and i will stay again.
Perfect location,very clean and nice hotel.
Frienly staff.
Rooms are very clean especially dinner buffet was very nice.
I would definitely recommend to have a drink on the balcony.

The hotel's location is good. Easy to go everywhere. Changshu and Haungsha metro stations are not too far.(line1). The staff are polite, I stayed in 8th and 11th floors. The rooms in 11th are non smoking rooms .
But the hall was smelling smoke. Maybe some guests don't obey the hotel's rules. the hotel's management has to be very serious about protecting non smoking guests . I will come back here soon.
