Stayed here one night while travelling by car from Monterrey to Playa Del Carmen. Great location outside of Tampico, 2 free beverages for happy hour, great bed, good restaurant. Had an enjoyable stay, quiet room.

Room was great, staff was very courtious, housekeeping wanted to clean room every day...as I worked night shift, I did not want this but the maid stated she got paid by how many rooms she cleaned. I did not like this at all.
The restaurant was horrible, did not cater to foreigners at all. Everything was spicy, breakfast buffet and the service was lousy...didn´t even have coffee 24 hours, like all of the other Holiday Inn´s that I have stayed at. Charged for coffee to take to work ! Front desk staff was very professional. Hotel had great washers and dryers for laundry.

Looked OK. Friendly staff but not much happening. Breakfast was boring as was the bar at night. I say bar, it was a trolley selling drinks.
To be fair, difficult to give a good or bad review as used it only as a place to get my head down

The rooms here are completely redone, reworked, and refurnished. A great safe and secure location for Business, friends, or family. Check in and check out is very easy and convenient. The wait staff and service at the bar and restaurant seem to be slow the times I have stayed here. However if you can get their attention, they will do about anything for you.

hotel is fairly modern and everything looks new. Spaceous room with nice bathroom, Check it took a little bit of time, Had dinner there, food was good and reasonable, paid only 10 US$ for a good salad and soft drinks, room rate was also acceptable with 77 US$ incl. breakfast. Hotel has a nice outdoor pool, will come back when I an in the area.
