We stayed here with our 13 month old and my sister and her partner in September in 2 apartments. I emailed in advance to request 2 apartments near to each other and we got exactly that - just across the hall from each other. Basic but clean apartment. Good little cot provided for our little girl.
Great location, near a big supermarket and near the busy strip if that's what you are after.
Santa Ponsa as a location has a bit of a cheap, tacky side but also has a quieter side around the bay away from the strip.
The pool had plenty of sunbeds but no parasols so wasn't really suitable for us with a baby. Pool bar brilliant value for money - large portions of freshly cooked, tasty foods. Lots of entertainment but not really our cup of tea.
Lots of stairs but there is space to leave your buggy at reception which is great.
All in all a good location for a cheap and cheerful family holiday.

Found out about this hotel via a friend at work. So glad I did because it is one of the best hotels we've stayed at. It's not a new big, super modern sort of place but just very friendly, clean and you defo feel at home with a family. The rooms are actually apartments with kitchens where you can knock up a simple meal, so great for saving a bit of money on eating out! The staff are all brill. Thanks Valerio for your great service and lovely smile and Chris upstairs for the great G&Ts and Carl for making us laugh every single night. The kids said they've never had such a great holiday. We made some great memories and hopefully will be back for more next year.

We had a great 7 days at these apartments they was basic and clean the staff was very helpful the man on the reception could not of been more helpful nothing was to much trouble himfrom the first time we got there but if you not so steady on you legs you need to ask for a low floor as there's only a lift to the first floor with a pool view as there are steps up to the rest of the rest of the apartments would go again

We stayed here for 10 nights 21st September until 1st October. We had a bit of an issue getting checked in as there was apparently a problem with our booking. The reception refused to let us use their phone and were very unhelpful. She was talking perfect English before the problem occurred then decided she could only speak Spanish.... However, our Jet2 rep showed up and fixed it pretty promptly after using our mobile to call Jet2 in the UK. After this incident, the rest of the holiday was a breeze. Rooms are basic but have everything you need, Fantastic shower, English TV, kettle, toaster, hobs, hairdryer. I would say the cleaning could have been a lot better but for all that we were using the room it was bearable. The entertainer Carl works really hard to get everyone involved in the daily activities such as bingo and water polo and was a really fun guy. However, the day time bar man could have put a smile on his face - very rude and unapproachable. The prices for food and drinks around the pool were very good and big portions too. The pool was a good size, freezing cold but I guess it was the time of year, once you were in it was fine! The rules were that you could not put down towels before 9am to reserve sunbeds but no one seemed to listen so we got caught out the first morning but every morning there after we were down at 8.45am and had no issues getting a space around the pool. The supermarket across the street is great and sells everything you would need for self catering including alcohol and English brands too. The main strip and beach only a 5 min walk. Great location, great hotel. Staff could do with some work with the exception of Carl.

We were on a recent family visit in Mallorca for a week and didn't spend much around the hotel so can't tell much about the services they offer but I can confirm that staff at the reception and cleaners are very courteous and pleasant and the rooms are so clean. It is a joy to stay in hotels like this one. Didn't matter what time at night we came back to the hotel, we always saw one or two staff cleaning. We were on a third floor and had great views and we had no problem with steps but I can see how overly heavy people might struggle.
We did see the entertainers in action and they seemed to please the families with children which is very important.
I wish we would have had more time to live the hotel life and join the crowd and it is possible that we go back to do just that, as we all liked the look and feel and cleanliness of Holiday Park a lot.
