This was a fantastic place for our elopement, Sharon took care of all the arrangements and everything went off perfectly!!! We were very happy and pleased with our wedding.
We also were very pleased with the coziness and cleanliness of the home as well as the charm of the owners!
Breakfast the next morning after our elopement was delicious and we felt like we had just had breakfast at a 5 star restaurant.
I would highly recommend this home if you are considering an elopement or just to stay in a well cared for bed and breakfast that has history all around it.

We chose this location because of its exceptional ratings and proximity to Montpelier, the home of James Madison. It did not disappoint. The inn has a historic charm and is very comfortable and clean. We stayed in the John Madison suite which has a private bathroom and a separate sitting room with a T V , DVD player and comfortable seating. The breakfasts were very good and Sharon and Sam were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this inn.

A very lovely home with welcoming inn keepers. The food was phenomenal and the hospitality was warm. The charming house was clean and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Highly recommended B & B/

My wife and I, and our friends, have spent two visits at the Holladay House in Orange and both have been outstanding! The owners have a beautiful property in the Inn. Historically, it's been the scene of some amazing Civil War times...ask Sharon and her husband about that part! The rooms are very nicely kept and the breakfasts are great! I have some food sensitivities and Sharon does a fantastic job in keeping my diet on course. They have great morning coffee, fresh ground in Orange, and their foods are locally sourced. Having continuous self serve wine and a wrap around porch only makes this Inn more relaxing! There are many interesting things to do in the area and good restaurants abound. You can be sure you'll have a nice stay at The Holladay House!

I booked the Holladay House for our wedding elopement and was not disappointed! Sharon and Sam have created a very comfortable and charming haven that worked perfectly for our small wedding. Sharon took very good care of us and all we had to do was show up. What a huge relief that was! We had the best time there and enjoyed our stay very much! It was our first B&B experience and I'd go back there in a heartbeat. We both felt very cared for and comfortable. The food, flowers, champagne....all were perfect! Can't wait to go back!
