Charming Victorian B&B
debbiemac997on 31/07/2017 02:25A lovely, charming B&B. Our room was large and comfortable, beautifully decorated with amazing attention to detail. I loved the house. Breakfast was simple but very good with a delicious apple cake. Located close to Warm Springs, Pine Mountain, Callaway. Recommended.
Fun Stepping Back In Time
lynnedaltonon 26/07/2017 22:03My husband and I stayed two nights at Holly House of Hamilton last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was a fun step back in time! The house is a fabulous vintage Victorian. The rooms are each decorated around a theme...ours was Victorian Era "Language of Flowers". The house is clean and authentic. The bed was super-comfortable. Judy is a wonderful hostess. We had two delicious breakfasts. She even serenaded us with the 1910 ballad "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" accompanied by an old player piano! She also let me play one of the antique pump organs in one of the parlors! We had a great time, and would highly recommend Holly House. Anyone who loves stepping back in time but still with the modern comforts of today will enjoy their stay at Holly House!
Great experience and a wonderful hostess!
lukechandleron 12/05/2017 00:48My wife and I, with our 5 kids, enjoyed our brief stay at this great B & B. This Victorian-era house is filled with charm. We slept comfortably in our suite with 1 King bed, 3 twin beds, and a private bathroom.
Breakfast was fabulous with eggs, bacon, waffles, fresh strawberries (served in an antique glass dish) fresh cream, pecans, juices, coffee, and more. It was more than enough food for all of us to eat.
Judy, our hostess, was warm and attentive. She demonstrated the player piano, which was a highlight for our kids. At checkout she sent us on our way with a batch of fresh baked cookies. Our stay was only one night but I wish we had spent another night or two there.
This B&B has a capacity for around 20 people, so small groups would enjoy this option when visiting Fort Benning, the Biblical History Center in Lagrange, the FDR State Park, or other attractions in the area.
Another great visit
LT_from_GAon 16/04/2017 18:44Had a wonderful weekend with the ladies...Judy's hospitality and cooking were as awesome as ever. We also enjoyed shopping at the antique store on Hwy 27 down the road in Cataula, GA. Shops in Pine Mountain are always fun, as well. Highly recommend Holly House.
A step back in time with modern conveniences!
Beth Lon 17/03/2017 04:14Holly House is like stepping back into Victorian times...except for the free wifi & television, of course. However, this is your chance to put away today's distractions and enjoy the peace and quiet of this oasis. Judy pampers her guests with wonderful breakfasts & delicious homemade cookies. Spend some time with her listening to stories of the collections in the house and the player piano, and then shoot some billiards.
Few B&B's are able to take children, but Holly House is well-situated with two upstairs suites with twin beds for the kidlets. It is close to Calloway Gardens, adorable Pine Mountain, Columbus, FDR's Little White House, and a great get-away just over an hour from Atlanta! Whether this is your destination for a weekend retreat or you are passing through on your way, I highly recommend enjoying Judy's wonderful hospitality.
