Was ok.Again for the price it was Ok.iT was a good place to be for the buses and getting around LA.Not the best hotel for comfort ETC.Very dated furniture and decor.But you do get what you pay for.If you just want somewhere to sleep and cheap.Its ok

Sad to say we never actually got to stay here. My friend and I made a reservation online through their website, then got a call at midnight the same night saying the hotel was booked and our reservation was being cancelled, so we made other arrangements. Now I have a charge on my credit card, and when I called to talk to them about it, the man I talked to said that we never called to say the reservation was cancelled and would be charged a no-show fee no matter what, no matter that the hotel called us to tell us the reservation was cancelled. When I asked to speak to a manager, he said to call back on Monday (4 days from now), but I would be charged money anyway and then hung up on me. I will try to dispute this with my credit card company, but BEWARE before booking anything here.

Before you consider this hotel- don't. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never had an experience this unpleasant, we had $500 stolen from our room after telling the managment they were unhelpful and unsympathetic from the get go. They blatantly told us the only person who had access and went into the room was the maid. We called the manger same day he said he'd be in the next day with the maid. We went back the next day only to find the manager hadn't done ANYTHING about the situation. We had to go back to the hotel 2 days in a row just to get the manager to interview the maid only to be told she didn't speak English!! They tried to avoid the situation, didn't want to deal with it at all and couldn't even get copies of the incident report for us. They lied numerous times and unless you are looking for an unpleasant stay in hollywood, find somewhere else! The room is not worth a penny of what you are paying for! Horrible experience and rude staff.

We were in a group travelling around US with this our first stop.
Great restaurants, supermarket and Starbucks walking distance.
Big rooms - clean beds and swimming pool.
Tea and coffee making facilities with orange juice and water in reception area.
Helpful staff clean linen.

I chose this hotel as closely located to Walk of Fame and Griffith Park.
I knew when booking it was a rather simple hotel, and it was, but let me say it was clean aswell.
I was on the poolside with my room, which actually means you can't open your window/curtain because of privacy issues. Which actually gives you the feeling you're a little trapped.
Not really a problem to me because I was a little jetlagged, but you can hear the traffic very well through the thin doors. And this goes on during the night, trust me.
As it comes to the staff, I was not at all happy. I was 'welcomed' by an empty register with a little note saying " I'll be back in 10mins"
I waited for a while and saw that the poolguy had to tell the receptionist that I was there. The receptionist came in and seemed not very pleased he had to work or welcome me. He was very impolite and rattled on about my Visa card being declined. (I've used it in multiple stores without issues that day) There was an ATM at the reception and I showed him the card did work, bit he refused to try again and wanted me to pay in cash.
I had to fill in a little sheet with personal info and I asked him where to fill in the car's details and all he said was "Just read the card!"
This hotel is good for two nights and just for sleeping, clean and big rooms, but they won't see me back.
