This hotel fills up fast and you could end up with no parking spot when you return from dinner. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is minimal. Pool is small and right by parking traffic. Location is close to 101 and downtown via surface street. Parts of the neighborhood could be unsafe.

Upon arrival I was shocked at the area, I first wanted to relocate but decided to give it a try. After the first night I settled down and stayed for the 2nd night. So many homeless people, but realized that's everywhere in la. Breakfast was included and location was great. Lyft drivers were quick. Overall it was cheap and ok, rooms were clean which is important . Pillows were well used for sure. A little updating would greatly improve

This motel is very basic but decent if you won't be spending much time in the room.
If you want to spend time in Hollywood and Beverly Hills I would suggest going closer.
However if you want good access to downtown this place is excellent.
The friendly staff also gave us a reduced room rate so we could check out at 9pm to accommodate a late flight. This gave us a very comfortable last day being able to shower and relax before our flight.

Receptionist was nice, he asked us if we meant to book a smoking room. We quickly said no- who knew these still existing in 2017?! We were assigned a new room, very grimy, stunk of bleach, very noisy, graffiti on mirror and sockets hanging off walls.

I excepted a outdated room with lack of amenities but I got a large room with 3 queen sized beds. The room came with a fridge, full dining table, hair dryer, large flat screen tv, small couch and plenty of outlets for everyone's device. Not luxurious but nice place, plenty of parking (if everyone parks right) and pool. Staff was great and informed me of all the available amenities when I checked in. Water was hot and the AC worked just fine. So if you need a place to rest your head and not pay crazy prices then this may be just right for you. Since we had 5 in our party we didn't pay much when we split the full amount between us. So this place was a win for us!!!
