Stayed at this B&B for two nights. the location was great for what we had planned to do. Not far from the Hollywood Walk of Fame area. The room was clean and very nice. The Proprietor, Gayle, was very pleasant and helpful. The parking is tight but it's free and works okay if you don't have an oversized car. Ate at a good restaurant within walking distance. the area seemed very safe. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our three nights here. The room is small-ish but clean and cosy, the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen and living room make it feel like your own apartment. The coffee is awesome, the muffins & fruit are plenty for breakfast and are available for late sleepers. The street is quiet & leafy but walking distance to some great bars on Franklin. The driveway is tight but it's an old place so who cares. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Hollywood Pensione. We were warned about the parking, but we were able to park our mid-size SUV just fine. Upon arrival, it was very hot outside, but luckily the room temperature was just right. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Overall, we felt that the room was a bit smaller and more outdated than it appears on the photos, but still a nice enough room.

Confirmation e-mail alerted me about extremely tight parking, so we got a compact car. I was also informed that our bed would not be made, provided a code to get in, and informed that breakfast (fruit and muffins) would be available between 8-9am. Really.
So we arrived 11pm, no phone charging next to bed, but Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Pumpkin coffee was good. Towels were way above average. No newspaper and the 7-Eleven down the street doesn't get their newspaper delivery until almost 8am, which provided multiple opportunities to squeeze in and through that tiny driveway.
Best things: Pumpkin coffee, towels, pillows
Worst things: announced time for breakfast and then only fruit and muffins.

We enjoyed our four days at the Pensione. Everything is eco-friendly and quiet neighborhood, ample continental breakfast and nice rooms all added up to an A+ stay. The hotel is close to everything! I actually enjoyed being in charge of bed making.
