Fabulous B&B in Warminster

T R on 19/11/2017 21:44

What a beautiful place. Trish and Colin have a beautiful home. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and very clean. It is wonderful being able to look out of the window and see the Wiltshire countryside. We are arrived on a very wet and cold night after a day spent at Longleat. We were welcomed and shown to our rooms which were warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and we have a great night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous - fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereal to choose from plus a very yummy english cooked breakfast with tea or a cafeteria of coffee. Highly recommend Home Farm - excellent location for Longleat, Bath, Bradford on Avon etc. We will be back? Thank you Trish and Colin.

Just had a week here using Home Farm as a base for exploring / visiting the area.
Our stay could not have been better.
Owners both very pleasant and helpful.
Our suite was excellent, clean and we'll appointed.
Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic place

My husband, 2 year old and I recently spent 6 nights here on a family holiday and cannot recommend highly enough. From the moment we arrived to be greeted with delicious homemade cake by Trisha and Colin to when we left, we were made to feel very welcome.

Our family room was cosy, clean and very comfortable with a good sized separate bath and shower ensuite and the fridge was a lovely addition.

Breakfast was a lovely and varied selection of cereal, fresh fruit and cooked breakfast.

Trisha was extremely helpful with her knowledge of the area and also her help with tickets for Longleat was very appreciated.

Most of all, we loved how accommodating they were of our young daughter who quickly adopted Trisha as a surrogate grandmother!

Toys were made available for children to play with and our daughter particularly enjoyed the monkey game and the giant Winnie the Pooh and Tigger who greeted her on her bed for the week. Bath toys were also left out which prompted a wave of nostalgia from my husband.

During our stay, our daughter had her birthday and Trisha went out of her way to make little birthday cupcakes complete with candles and a little present whilst she and Colin sang happy birthday to her.

All in all, Home Farm is as much of a home - from - home as you could want from warm and generous hosts. We would not hesitate to stay there again should we find ourselves in their part of the world on any future occasions.

Can't wait for an excuse to go back

I stayed with a friend for one night over the weekend. The location of the place is lovely, surrounded by fields and amazing views. The room was perfect, really big and bright with a modern en-suite and little kitchen area with a big variety of hot drinks and treats. The place was spotless and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was delicious, cereals, fruits and cooked breakfast, vegetarian option was no problem. Ate it watching the dear through the window, such a peaceful place I wish I could have chilled out in for longer. Trisha was lovely and so helpful, both in the planning of our stay (always replied straight away to e-mails/ got the room ready for us to arrive early) and with suggestions of places to walk in the local area. There was a really lovely, homely feel to this b&b and I would definitely go back again and recommend to others staying in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Amazing stay!

We've just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay in this b&b and we honestly can't find a fault with it.

Immaculately clean throughout, comfy beds, amazing shower and welcoming hosts that couldn't do enough for us.

Trisha went the extra mile, putting toys in our room for the children, books on their beds and their own special bowls and plates for breakfast.

BREAKFAST WAS FABULOUS.

Thank you for having us and sending on the couple bits we managed to leave behind!
