This hotel is now known as In Town Suites. Our house burned down and we feel we were blessed to find this place! This is an extended stay hotel. There are a lot of Contractor's that stay here. They have a weekly rate that is a great value! We had a two bedroom handicapped room that we stayed in for about 2 months.
The maids only cleaned the room once a week which was ok with us. Security at the hotel was ok. All exterior doors were locked but could be opened with your room key. They have a laundry mat inside of hotel so you can wash your clothes. There are two grills out by the pool for guests to use. Our room had a small kitchenette which serves well but there is no oven. Staff was exceptional and eager to help with any problems. Very close to restaurants within walking distance.
We had a good experience staying here and were blessed to find such a great value!

This motel is awesome. They are now known as intown suites. The rooms are extremely clean. The housekeeping is a top notch group of people. The entire staff is awesome, they are extremely polite and very well mannered. There are grills outside furnished for the clients use free of charge. They have a nice very clean pool and a great sitting area. I would very highly recommend this place over any place in Decatur, AL
Do Not Stay

My family and I stayed at this hotel the first weekend of June 2016. The staff was very helpful, and curtious. The first night we stay the room appeared clean, but had an odor to it. There was odor as we walked down the hallway to our room as well. We fell asleep only to be woke up abt an hr after we had laid down to loud noises above us. Not only that, but we spotted a roach crawling above our bed on the ceiling. There is no front desk attendant after 8 or 9 p.m. However, there is a courtesy officer on the property that can be called after hrs. The number can be found on the phone. She can dwn to assist, but the bug couldn't be found after she knocked it off the ceiling. While looking ard the room found all kinds of food up under the bed skirt. 2nd incident on the same nite - woke to find another bug crawling on the ceiling...I killed it. On the 2nd nite my sister picked up a dish cloth only to find a spider. We hung it up afterwards...we only spent abt $200 for 2 nites worth of trouble & aggravation. The only reason we stayed in a hotel was to make it easy for my sister. She broke her leg & it has to be raised. It makes it difficult in moving around. My house in Decatur has a small bathroom & we didn't think she could get in there. We tried getting a refund for at least one nite...at this time we haven't heard anything back frm the management. I didn't feel that we were asking for something that was unjustified. So I write this to anyone looking at staying here...BEWARE...PASS THE WORD...DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. They don't know what good customer service is nor do they care. I don't think patrons should have to experience this on any level.
Clean and good beds.

The staff was helpful, there were restaurants within walking distance and it was quiet. My small dog was permitted to stay. Nice to have a fridge, microwave, China and utensils and a dining table and chairs.
Cheap and just about worth it

The Good: great price, big room, full kitchen, nice staff.
The Bad: office open short hours, slow WIFI, broken locks on exterior doors, rust in water
So we booked this place online for a short stop on a long trip. The price was great and the location is OK. The first problem came when we got a call from the hotel saying the office would close at 9PM and that we needed to use codes if we were late. Luckily we got in before the bell. The entrance is sort of hidden, follow the signs for the Quality Inn and you'll get there.
This is an extended stay place so a lot of the furnishings and interior are designed for hard use plus easy cleaning. There is linoleum, hard rubber and very dark carpet to help maintain the place. The staff was nice enough.
The room was clean. The kitchen tap gave out water with little flecks of rust in it ( we ran it for a while but it did not get better). The WIFI was very slow, stopped occasionally and had an unusual all caps password. The door on the Quality Inn side of the building is broken and will not lock.
The Road Word: drive past unless you really need to conserve cash. It's not horrible but it needs help.
