As grandparents, my wife and I needed lodging for a two day trip to visit family in Charlotte.
Another family member had already booked a room in the Home2Suites hotel; we did likewise.
Overall the hotel met our needs. It was neat and clean, laid-out well, with a friendly, helpful staff. The morning of our departure we began by visiting the breakfast bar. There was a wide variety of breakfast foods, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and juices. My wife chose a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich, and I chose a breakfast burrito. Both were excellent.
We had two minor issues that probably wouldn’t bother most people. 1) We could not get the heating unit regulated. The fan ran constantly and we were either too hot or too cool. I should explain that this was the beginning of a cold front which had moved into the Charlotte area with 30 degree colder temperatures than the previous day. 2) Our king sized bed wasn’t comfortable. Perhaps I’m just overly fond of my own bed at home.
The room was spacious with a modern kitchenette: microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and sink. Outside, there were two gas grills for those who like to barbecue. Also, the hotel featured an indoor pool located next to the patio/grilling area.
If another family get-together comes up in the future, I would probably choose Home2Suites again.

The hotel had excellent service, the room was very clean and comfortable. The maid service was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was an added plus. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Very clean room with modern decor. Room was comfortable with plenty of room. Really liked the compartments on the walls to store stuff. Its truly like a nice apartment. You wont be sorry if you stay here.

We traveled to the NC area and stopped for the night at this hotel. Wow clean and service beyond belief. I will be back again and again. The breakfast the following morning was fresh, and the coffee and juice a nice touch.

This hotel was updated and clean and very reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with healthy options available. The room was set up well and spacious. The bed was very comfortable
