We had to go north for a family bereavement and found Homelands on the web. Thank goodness it was very comfortable and welcoming. Perfect for what we wanted. Try the Italian restaurant just up from Homelands, or across the road to the Cricketers if you like steaks.

Very nice accommodation, ideally situated. Walking distance to all amenities.
Very clean and hosts very friendly, providing home made cakes in your room.

We stay 5 nights and all was really great. Lovely, confortable and clean room, fresh and delicious breakfast, helpful infos to visit the region. Really Thanks to Glenda and Daniele for all... We hope to come back soon

Homelands Guest House is located close to the heart of Barnard Castle, but close enough to the areas beautiful scenery to make an ideal base for a holiday.We were given a very warm welcome, the rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious

Had a great stay at Homelands thanks to our hosts Glenda & Daniele who welcomed us in to their cosy guesthouse..we were shown to our ensuite room at the front of the house by Glenda who explained about the keys & breakfast & then left us to unpack ..we had tea & coffee facilities in our room with the extra touch of homemade cookies-yum yum..room was warm with a comfortable bed..breakfast next morning cooked by Daniele was delicious with plenty of choice ..thanks for a great stay
