We checked in early, and although our rooms were not ready (we were way early) the staff did a great job of preparing rooms for our party within 30 minutes of our arrival. The rooms and the entire hotel has been renovated and modernized and everything was well done and comfortable.
The hotel is not downtown but their (free) shuttle service gets you to downtown quickly and easily. The breakfast was well done, all the foods hot and everything one would want for this type of breakfast.
The real highlight was Reed, the night "manager" who couldn't make us feel more comfortable and welcome in the common area as we sat there with our snacks and beverages. This kind of "customer care" from an individual representing the hotel brand is what makes me write this review and highly recommend this property.

We stayed in a premium suite with a mountain view and it was fantastic! The view was amazing, the room was very spacious and comfortable. Midweek evening reception was a great surprise - there was salad, wine, and such nice buffet items that we made the buffet our evening meal both nights! There was a delay in checking in, but the assistant general manager, Richard Collins, was very kind and accommodating, even personally checking the room to make certain it was ready for us. Throughout our stay he was very attentive and he made our stay extremely pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel!!

The staff was great, from the service desk to the kitchen crew, rooms where clean and spacious, and the breakfast/evening social made life simpler when traveling with the family. We'll definitely be staying here again when we return to Asheville.

The rooms where big with a full kitchen,and the breakfast and evening social where great the evening social was like a meal didn't have to go to dinner and had beer and wine !Not far from the Biltmore Estate. all of the staff where very friendly.

We stayed at this brand new looking Homewood Suites overnight for a college visit with our son. Location is extremely convenient to downtown Asheville and UNC Asheville. They have a complimentary shuttle which we used to have dinner downtown and avoid hassles of parking there. Rooms are very spacious and hotel has been completely redone. Breakfast selection only so-so, but everything else was top-notch.
