The hotel and it's accommodation are wonderful. Meet all the needs for anyone. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful and the hotel was extremely clean. The hotel staff were extremely caring and accommodating. I would stay here everytime I travel for business or with my family!

Since I have stayed here 175 times (literally), I guess I can give an informed review, eh?

For the last 10 years or so I've regularly visited the Iowa City area for business, usually about 50 nights per year. For the last 4.5 years or so, almost all of my stays have been at this property. That in and of itself should tell most of the story.

The hotel is nicely set up for business, or for families. There is a breakfast with several options every morning and an evening reception with options that range from hearty appetizers to light dinners. In the evening beer (including a local craft beer) and wine are included. The wifi is solid, the rooms are good sized, there is a reasonable desk for working in each room, as well as a usable kitchenette. The rooms are always clean and there is good temp control in each room.

The general neighborhood is very nice too, I've typically spent a few hours in the car by the time I arrive, so I don't want to have to get back in the car to get dinner or a beer. There are multiple restaurant options (30Hop is my usual go-to) within walking distance, including a microbrewery a block down the hill. There are a few boutiques and other shops along the street in each direction from the hotel that are walkable, and a Von Mour.

However, the biggest reason that I continue to stay at this hotel so often is the wonderful staff. Cassie is always on top of things when she's working the front desk. She knows the rooms I like (15s and 22s at the end of the hall) and puts me there when available without me even saying a word. From my perspective as a customer she is always cheerful, hardworking, and does an excellent job. There are many other workers/managers who have been on staff for most of the time the property has been open and who I recognize on each visit. Everyone from the group that handles the evening reception to the cleaning staff are always friendly and helpful. From my experience as a frequent traveler, that type of consistent friendliness and service is well appreciated. Kudos to the staff and management for such a well run property.

I have stayed at various hotels within the Hilton line and other lines and this Homewood Suites location is the best I have experienced. The staff is amazing. The rooms are spotless and very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is always great and the evening social hour is amazing. Complimentary beer from a local micro brew and wine as well as great food. Not just appetizers but a different selection each night that is enough to eat for a full meal. It is also very family-friendly becuase of the spacious suites, pool and food that kids can eat too. I always enjoy this hotel when I travel to Iowa City.

I always choose to stay at this hotel when traveling to the University of Iowa for work. It is clean, has very friendly service, and a great location. Great options for shopping and dining within walking distance.

We had a family wedding in Iowa City and selected Homewood Suites as the hotel for the guests. This hotel made all of the out of town guests feel right at home. When we walked into the lobby we were greeted by the hotel clerk who had a friendly smile. All of the reserved rooms were properly reserved. The rooms were clean. Each day the cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning the rooms. We ate breakfast each day. The selection of food was very good. The quality of the food was outstanding. I used the work out room which had good equipment. I used the pool which was nice. We used one of the meeting rooms for the guests to gather and mingle. The room was perfect for our use. There is plenty of parking. The hotel is within walking distance to a nice bar, restaurant, stores etc. It is conveniently located near the interstate. I will stay here in the future and recommend that any travelers consider this hotel.
