Rooms are large but a tad noisy and dated. This is more than compensated for by the complimentary breakfast and dinner (with wine and beer). Easy parking but a bit expensive. Easy to take Uber around the city. Great stay.

Loved the woman at the front desk! Very friendly and helpful, especially with questions and information about the hilton team member process. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Hartford area that would appreciate the service of any well standing Hilton hotel.

I am a Hilton Honors Silver member and got upgraded to a two bedroom two bath suite. The hotel overall was clean, but the shower could use a little more attention. The room had a locker room smell. My toilet broke as I was leaving for the day. After eating breakfast I went to use the lobby bathroom. It smelled like stagnant urine. The elevators are a bit awkward here. They are down a long hallway away from the lobby. The place seems to be locked down in the evening. You have to use your key card to get in the main lobby after 10pm. Area on the outside did not seem dangerous, but makes you wonder.

Staff is extremely helpful and acknowledging, room was immaculate, lots of fun stuff to do in the vicinity (park, live music, great restaurants). Complimentary earplugs on your night stand (great for a downtown location). Breakfast had plenty of options.

I stayed at the homewood suites recently for a work trip to Hartford, and overall it was a reasonable place to crash after long working days.
Pros:
- Big rooms including separate living space and bedroom
- Centrally located, with shuttles
Cons:
- No restaurant on site, no room service (but there is complementary breakfast and snacks / drinks in the evening)
- Definitely not luxury style, fixtures, furniture, etc
