I specifically booked this hotel because they advertised it as having a whirlpool. At check in they have a map on the counter and it shows a whirlpool next to the pool in the pool area so imagine our surprise when we get to the pool to find no whirlpool. When I voiced my concern to the staff I was told that the whirlpool had to be removed because it violated the health dept codes and so they never put another on in. No offer to compensate me with a discount or anything. Just the attitude of too bad we got your money. We don't really care if you were happy about it or not. We aren't going to do anything to make it right.

I stayed just one night, I enjoyed how the front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The suite was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just the right amenities I needed in the bathroom and the lighting was great. I only used the business centre and took advantage of the morning breakfast, which offered many good choices. All in all my night's rest was peaceful and I would definitely stay here again and again whenever I'm back in the Herietta/Rochester, NY area.

I have stayed at this particular Hilton property many times over the pastv15-20 years. All experiences have been very positive. If I would make only one single suggestion it might be that an additional elevator might be welcome.

From the front desk to the kitchen, the staff at Homewood went above and beyond to help my family feel extremely comfortable. A very long night in the lobby (all night to be exact) was made very bearable by an attentive, kind, front-desk employee. She was a life-saver that night.

Was in town for a tournament and required to use this hotel, otherwise would not have done so. It was overpriced for what we received - rather dated rooms and few options in the room style. Very few rooms offered two queens, which meant one person had to use the pullout sofa to avoid sharing a king bed. The fitness center was pretty basic and could be improved/enlarged. The pluses were that it had a nice lobby in which we could gather and pass the time, and it was convenient for us. Also had pleasant staff.
