Work week in DC

Work Week in DC. This was my first stay at this establishment. I checked in on my app & was able to select the room that I had wanted. Great and friendly service from all staff. Room was excellent upon arrival & housekeeping did a marvelous job with the upkeep. Close to McPherson station for the Metro. I absolutely enjoyed my week there. Thank you so much for your prompt assistance!
Comfy

Stayed here on recommendation from work at a negotiated group great falling within our allowable spend. Was a little concerned when I read some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Great location and the set up made it feel like a home away from home. Arrived early and had requested early checkin. There was no room ready when I got there but they had one within an hour or so and was checked in by 11am.
Great stay but for a few cons:
1. Two days in a role housekeeping did not wash the bath tub. I ignored it the first day but was irritated the second. Called guest services who apologised and made a note on it and the bath tub was cleaned the rest of my stay;
2. One night I called guestservices/front desk with an inquiry and the lady who picked up was curt, bordering on rude. Insisted on sending me a restaurant menu when thats not what I was calling for, which menu never came anyway.
3. Suite had two beds, one of which was kinda lumpy and not very comfortable.
4. Air-conditioning/heating system a little loud.
Pros:
1. Good (regular) range of breakfast. Cereal, fruit and hot food available daily;
2. Great location;
3. Good amenities. Laundry room and gym on site;
4. Friendly staff at front desk (but for the lady who picked up that one evening)
5. Good selection of TV channels.
Beats a typical hotel stay any day.
Praises for Stacey

Our stay was perfect, made even more so by Stacey at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and helpful with the check in process and directions. This young lady is an asset with her sunny disposition and smile. The room was nicely appointed albeit a tiny bit dark. Breakfast offered a variety and was good. Others on the staff were friendly as well but Stacey certainly made a great impression.
Would stay again

Check-in was efficient. Neighborhood is lovely. Several restaurants of varying prices within walking distance Room was clean and up to date. Tub has seen a bit of wear. There was a reception in the evening with munchies and beer and wine. Hallways were occasionally noisy - but just for a few minutes.
Horrible experience

first of all when I check in I wasn't offered any bottle water for my stay and the when I questioned it because I saw someone else getting bottle water when he check in the assistant general manager just smile and said nothing. my son was hungry so I went down stairs to the market and price for a kit kat, a small bag of pretzels and a little can of pasta was $3.50 for each item totaling $10.50. if that's not highway robbery I don't know what is. my other son wanted hot chocolate and you didn't have any. that's ridiculous. the next morning when I walk to the elevator there were empty beer cases on top of the garbage can. we went to the morning breakfast and the tables weren't clean. food was not stock, no yogurt no cheese for the scrambled eggs. we walked out went out for breakfast and had to spend $50 on breakfast. the reason why we stay with you is because of the commentary breakfast. the next morning we came down for breakfast and the eggs had vegetables in the eggs. my kids and other kids at the breakfast was complaining about why there were vegetables in the eggs and again we left and spend another $50 on breakfast. we normally stay at a Marriott Residence Inn and we never have an issue with there commentary breakfast. we wanted to give you guys a chance but we were very disappointed the way we were treated and the breakfast was discussing.
