We have booked 2 weeks earlier, but the hotel cancelled it 24 hours before our arrival in an email. They have made overbooking, and tried to play it till the end. No phone call, nor saying sorry, just cancelling. :S

We stayed here when attending an exhibition at Fiera in Milan. The station is a 15 min walk / €10 taxi with good train service to both The Fiera exhibition and Milan.
The hotel is family run and welcoming and though they dont have laundry facilities they were happy to arrange for me.
It is a fairly traditional hotel with a good breakfast. Rooms are quite small and simple but clean and with good shower in en-suite bathroom.
Busto is quiet but we found a small bar to have a drink in (no bar in hotel) before going to one of the local restaurants.
I'd use again for similar purpose.

The Hotensia Hotel is in the city center of Busto Arsizio, one of the many small towns surrounding Milano. For a tourist it's in the middle of nowhere, although access to bus and train are apparently easy, so it's an affordable option to sleep if you plan to use two or three days visiting Milan. Much better if you have a car as free parking is available. I shared a room with a friend and we paid Euro 90 for a double room, breakfast included ... 45 each, not bad ... actually excellent because both of us had to go to a fencing competition only a few blocks away. The place seems to be family administrated and the staff is very friendly and polite. The hotel is clean, breakfast is good, free wi-fi is available all around and rooms are comfortable. No complains.
