Perfect for our needs
TravellingJson 04/06/2017 02:05Located on the edge of Salamanca town, this hotel - while quite large - presents a homely front. Staff are very professional and attentive; the room was large enough for our needs, and very quiet; the pool seemed great was sadly, does not open till 1 June [despite its being quite a hot day]; and the continental breakfast provided in the tariff was very adequate: plentiful, though not too imaginative, and with unlimited excellent coffee. Probably the best feature for travellers was its location - directly opposite is the bus stop which takes you straight into the Old Town, and drops you off outside an enormous Cortes Inglese department store next door for last minute shopping. Buses seem to run every 10 - 15 minutes, and take only 5 minutes to the final stop in the Old Town.

Decor and ambiacne is good with lots of framed paintings , phoographs and some so called modern paintings .
Rooms are satisactory.
Food quite tasty.
Staff cordial. and friendly.

Ideal for Via de la Plata walkers
dancinggreenon 18/05/2017 08:37We stayed her for 2 nights for a short break in Salamanca. It is extremely good value. the rooms are spacious and quiet. The pool is not huge but a good size and in a suntrap, so good for a relaxed pool side drink. The food is excellent Spanish cuisine, the chef is clearly accomplished. The buffet breakfast is huge and varied. The staff are lovely - just try to speak a little Spanish even though they can all manage English. The prices - week day menu 15 euros for 3 courses, wine, water and bread is excellent value. If you are taking a break from the Via de la Plata or finishing or starting here there is a bus stop outside the door to take you into the Old Town. We would definitely go back

robert non 17/05/2017 19:35We have stayed at this hotel on three accasions and the hotel is very comfortable ,staff very attentive but breakfast time you have to except what is left after large coach parties have eaten most of the buffet even though the staff try to replenish food .
"Horror" Tourist hotel
pockeongon 01/01/2017 08:05The staff at the reception was not friendly and unhelpful when I approached him for assistance as the room assigned to me was a single room instead of a double room as required. As he could not help, I had to approach the tour leader for help and managed to change the room by our own arrangement. While taking shower in the room it was with bad experience when the water got very hot and cold, as the water mixer seems to be defective. I heard that other rooms also suffered the same problem.
I also found that the rooms were not sound-proof.
