Simple room, perfect for our needs
Amanda Won 22/09/2017 17:03My mom and I were in a private room with a private bathroom, so not like a Hostal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is nice and modern. The room was perfect for our needs as we only had one night in Lugo. It is about a 15 min. walk from the city center, but this was fine as we needed to stretch our legs after traveling. It is in a nice neighborhood and there is a Mercadona grocery store nearby.

Visaman1on 25/07/2017 18:24This is a very good hostel, better than hotels we have stayed in. The room was large, clean and airy, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The bathroom again was spacious and clean. The owners were very friendly. The restaurant below served metals all day-not part of the room rate-which were very hood with reasonable prices. Always seemed busy with people living nearby dying it.
Only 10 minutes walk or do from the Roman walls surrounding the town thus US an deal place to stay

Tanya Son 19/07/2017 21:38This family run hostal has brightly decorated spacious rooms. The staff gives helpful information and you can dine in their adjoining cafeteria. The beds are large and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this Lodging.
Comfortable "hostal" in a good location
Stokie92on 17/07/2017 12:07The triple room we stayed in was a good size, with two wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom, which included shower gel, soap, and a hair dryer. The owners are really friendly and the hostal includes a cafetería for drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner. About 10 mins from the center of Lugo.
Very Good Value
Trev0108on 08/11/2016 23:20Spent 3 nights here in September . The hostal is fairly easy to find , based close to the centre of town . We managed to park on one of the streets near the hostal on arrival & the following day moved the car to a spot just outside the hostal entrance .
Pleasantly surprised by the size of our room . It turned out to be the most spacious accommodation of our fortnight in Galicia . The hostal was very clean & tidy & the bright decor was quite appealing . Rooms were comfortable & we slept well each night .
We used the ground floor café bar for breakfast each morning , which was pretty standard , but adequate. We also ate there one night & had a night cap the other two nights . Bar prices are reasonable , the portions & measures generous . When we were there it was quite busy with both locals & guests .
It's about a 15 min walk into town to where the old Roman city walls start & you feel safe enough walking back home late at night. We enjoyed our stay at the Brios , all the staff were friendly , helpful & attentive. We would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Lugo .
