One of the best places to visit if you want escape from daily routine. Staff/owner are very friendly and professional. As it was my business trip, I also very much appreciated strong internet connection in the room. Rooms are clean.
Even though owners do not promote it out loud, they have one of the best meals on their menu I've ever tried.
Long story short - great place!

Let me first start by saying that place is simple yet very accommodating, they were able to help me with the best possible way to get around Spain, and although we have a language barrier we worked it out just fine. I highly recommend this place!!! Muchas gracias, hostal fabrellas !!😊👍👏

Loved this place! Located right in the middle of the village, Hostal Fabrellas was a wonderful surprise because we picked it strictly for location, but it turned out to be much more. Now, when I say village, I really mean village. Most of the streets were barely passable for a single car, let alone, two cars!
I am not a big fan of hostals, usually, especially if I am traveling with others and not "roughing it", but Fabrellas was different. It was very well located, very clean, and had a curiously designed building and grounds. Part of the grounds were built when the medieval walled village was constructed and other parts were updated during the modernists movement in the early 20th century. Once I saw the mix of old and new detailing, my architectural curiosity went into overdrive!
This a great place to use as a base to do road trips. I highly recommend it!

This charming hotel is in the sleepy town of Caldes de Malavella. We spent four nights here as our base to explore the Costa Brava region. It as a great location for exploring the area. The hostal was clean and charming. The man who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The hostal was also a great location for exploring Caldes. Wonderful stay.

Location is not too far from the motorway north/south in a sleepy village mostly famous because of its spa capabilities. The front of the hotel opens onto a narrow built up road and thus no parking or access to free car park. The car park access is "around the back". There is room for about a dozen cars in the courtyard. The hotel is quiet and cool. We only encountered one staff member and I think he was the manager. He was pleasant and helpful but not a lot of English. The rooms were average but clean and adequate for our overnight stay. The manager seemed to suggest we would be better eating out which we did and found a very good local bar/restaurant. Breakfast was fine. Not outstanding but no real complaints.
