The hotel is placed a bit of the city center, just past the old aqueduct. The location isnt perfect but there is parking on site and around the site.
The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was a bit small but very clean and well kept.
Had a good night sleep here and it's a good choice if you are in the area.

This is an exceptionally well constructed and well run hostal. While the room was quite compact, the entire experience was far superior to that of my previous night in another city where I paid more than twice as much. The receptionist was quite helpful and the room/bathroom were very clean. I would be pleased to use this facility again.

We wanted to stop over from Madrid to the Algarve in Merida as it looked like a nice historical town,we loved it.
This little place was a pleasant surprise and the (paid) underground parking was great for peace of mind. Breakfast is served in your room which you arrange a time the night before ( they knock on the door and leave it for you )
We would defo go back.

On arrival in Merida from Caceres, the Hostal is easy to find on the north side of the town. It provided a good base for visiting surrounding places we wished to visit, including Trujillo, Montanchez & Guadalupe. The walk into town was fine, circa 20 mins given the temperature reached 48 degrees this July! The roman sights, including a late night visit to the international theatre festival were impressive.
Las Habadias staff were friendly, the room was modern, clean, comfortable, air conditioned with a small terrace. Parking was good, secure and connected to the Hostal by a lift. There are a couple of bars/cafeterias nearby.
The only reason for not getting 5 stars was the shower was small & the aircon although efficient, was a bit noisy at night, other than that Las Abadias offers good value for money & we would stay there again.

We booked a superior single room for 2 guests, if this was superior I wouldn't like to have a standard room. Very cramped and basic. A 20 minute walk to the town and local sites (lots of shops closed down).
Plenty of romanic places to visit. This is a place were you can cover all the sites in a day. The hostel is a budget style place to lay your head.
