Excellent. Great breakfast cooked to order. I had a very comfortable room and bed. The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke English. I requested airport pickup and also took their transport to the airport on leaving. I am happy to highly recommend.

The location is very good, close to everything. The rooms are very small but when you close your eyes who needs more. The whole place is very clean. the help are extremely helpful. They have a nice breakfast, with good coffee. The lady will fix eggs.
We liked the security this hotel provided at the entrance. The nightly charge is very low. If we come back to Lima we would stay again.

Upon arriving in Lima, we were picked up by the hotel’s taxi service ($15 USD) . Our driver, Miguel, was very helpful and pointed out a few things along the way to San Antonio Abad. We arrived late at night and shortly after arriving, we were shown our room. We dropped our bags in the room and headed back to the small courtyard to have a celebration beer for making it all the way to Peru (from Canada). The courtyard is small but well maintained and a great place to relax awhile. The hotel has bottled water and beer in the fridge (just have to ask the front desk for access). The hotel is located in Miraflores so it’s a safe neighbourhood. It’s a quick walk to the main square and not too far from the artisan market either. There are lots of banks and restaurants nearby too. The breakfast is pretty good and the coffee is great. The only downside is the noise. The sound of traffic and car alarms is always present in Lima. You almost can’t avoid it. On a plus side, we witnessed a rowdy parade (with a marching band ) celebrating the Peru’s National Football Team’s victory over Argentina in the 1st round of the World Cup qualifiers (I don’t watch soccer but it was exciting to see the city vibrate with energy!)
We stayed at San Antonio Abad at the beginning of our trip and also at the end. Unfortunately, my fiancé got very sick the last 48 hours of the trip so we mostly stayed at the hotel during that time. Again, the staff was very helpful even in the middle of the night. We ordered food and the staff offered tea to help settle her stomach. We really appreciated their concern and their offers to assist when needed.
I’ll leave the review with this last little comment: it’s not uncommon for WIFI to be weak or spotty in hotels but San Antonio has multiple networks you can join and the internet is quite good compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Very quaint. For a busy and hectic city, this hotel provides a nice sanctuary in a lovely neighborhood.
The staff is always friendly and very helpful. For Miraflores, this hotel is a bargain. We are returning soon.

I had one overnight in Lima traveling alone en route to Cusco and booked with Hotel San Antonio Abad based on reviews here. It was easy to work with the hotel to arrange a ride from the airport & the room was cozy and clean and had everything I needed. Definitely recommend!
