Hostel Dom is very well located, with friendly staff and decent WiFi. I also slept well on my first night, enough to forget the slow, near 30 minute, check in.
My second night was incredibly noisy as a large group arrived at midnight and left six hours later. There's no hiding that cheap laminate floor is a terrible sound insulator.
A modest breakfast is left out in the kitchen. Along with a rat the size of a small football. I shrieked. My train was departing in the evening so left my bags at reception (100 roubles, pretty sure I've never been charged for the priviledge before). I was distinctly unimpressed when I returned to find the front door open, reception unattended and my bags on view.
Hostel Dom needs to invest in a luggage room, carpets and a fearless cat.

The location is near Metro of Kurskaya (with 3 lines) and near the railway station to golden ring cities. The location is very good. But because of the construction work, the site is not easy to find. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They changed the towel every day. Very quiet and clean. Not too much rooms.

Stayed for 1 night in a Double Room with Shared Bathroom. The room is a decent enough size with a comfortable bed. There are 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. There’s a nice little sitting room area and kitchen area. Location wise, Kursk and Chkalovskaya metro stations are both around a 8-10 minute walk away from the hostel so getting to pretty much anywhere in the city is easy. Staff talk pretty good English, the wifi was quite temperamental during our stay, sometimes being really slow due to a weak connection.
Breakfast is really poor, when we went there wasn’t really anything left which was disappointing, along with another 2 guests who were also left disappointed. They have what’s available for breakfast on a bit of paper in the kitchen which is very portion controlled but considering what was left obviously isn’t followed. Seems to be more first come first served.
Overall, the hostel is nice enough but if you’re choosing accommodation based on breakfast then I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. If you just want a comfortable stay in an ok room and don’t care about breakfast then Hostel Dom is fine!

As above hostel dom is a good hostel to stay at. The other reviews cover that it is in a good location and the room I had was very clean. My only gripe really was that it didn't have much if an atmosphere so it felt a but awkward siting in the communal areas but perhaps that was just the week I stayed.

It is a little bit hard to find but with an app as google maps or maps.me it is easy to find. Good price quality for Moscow near the center. And close to the train station and also good metro connection (brown line). Also the employees speak English.
