Excellent value for a well located hotel with friendly and helpful owners, Marielle and Gilles Roby, who communicate very well in English. Gave us good suggestions of nearby towns of interest and provided wonderful dinners each evening. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable with very nice bathroom.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in September 2017. It was very clean, well equipped rooms. Free Wifi, & parking. Friendly helpful staff. We did not eat in the hotel but the menu looked very appealing and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

The hotel is situated close to the pretty village and is an excellent base to explore the sites nearby, particularly after dinner when the place was practically deserted. Secure parking is only a couple of minutes away. The room was large, clean and comfortable although the bed was hard and sloped towards the middle. Dinner was odd in that the starters and desserts were very good but the main course disappointing in that the duck was obviously canned and reheated and the lamb was lukewarm, the wine was good value.

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town of Brantome. We were warmly welcomed and looked after during our short stay. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and well equipped. There is safe private parking and a pretty garden. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough for us to sit outside. The food at dinner was excellent, with a good selection on the menu and a la carte. We would definitely return to this hotel if visiting Brantome again for its friendly staff and good position for walking into the town and exploring the area.

The rooms were very pleasant and well presented. Great value. The hotel restaurant offers a high quality dining experience with a varied a la carte menu and several good value set menus.
This is a great location for exploring Brantome and the region of Perigord. A few paces from the front gate you find the river side promenade with a lovely view accross Brantome and with plenty to do. 200 meters down the road is a kayak/canoe facility for the physically active - great experience. We appreciated the use of the Tesla destination charger which is key when you are day tripping in an all electric car.
